Quote from: whome?
Hello all, I started smoking when I was 12 or 13 and was never able to quit, decided when I hit 30 I really needed to stop and someone gave me a can of Copenhagen to "get over the hump". Well, I guess you know the rest.

I am now 58 and have been dipping for 28 years. I managed to quit once for 4 or 5 months, but that was years ago. I have told my wife I quit a few times and still did it behind her back. I can't tell you how bad I feel about not being honest with her.

If I went in to detail on all of the additional reasons I have to quit this post would be the size of a small novel.

I appreciate the fact this site exists and seems to have a lot of active members. My plan is to check in everyday and do roll call. ( Once I figure it out!)

Good luck to all of you who are new to this. I know we all will struggle a bit..

Tom

Hey bud, saw you posted... Not bad, but you need to post on the page with the list of names and you post at the bottom of the top list.
Only way you can mess it up is to not post, or to not try.
If you can't figure it out, send me a PM and I can walk you through it.

The ninja chewer... I have known my wife 11 years been married for 8 and never chewed in front of her but chewed the whole time.
I would get caught, 'quit' and secretively chew again, repeat... Quitting is liberating, never having to worry about where you left your can(s) and spitter.
Tell her about the site, and that you need help to quit. Do this because you will need to be on it, reading, posting and chatting for the first 100 days solid...
Quit on brother,

You crazy old man.

Welcome...Whome, you and I are just lucky were still kicking... NOT....
50 is prime time! Let's do it and do it right this time. No more Lieing!! More people than your wife are watching your life.

I think your going to need this sight more than once a day... I came here every time I was craving in the start. (chewed for 38 years) Doing all I could to get KTC in my lip. The more I read, the more I learned, the easier it was to win my hourly, daily battles.

Let's be done with those feeling you have about letting your wife down. It could be worse... You could be writing your sorry on a piece of paper after they remove your JAW!

DON'T PROMISE HER. PROMISE US.
Promise me you will stay quit for the next 24 hours. I promise you I will stay quit.
Go look in upper right corner (inbox). I just sent you my phone number.
Text me anytime.
Let's bury this Lieing Nicotine B#@h!

Learn how two post roll today. Make your promise to May quit brothers and sisters.
Read as much as you can.
Drink water.
You can do this.
We're ALL here to help ya.
I believe.....

Go to the welcome center to find the directions on how to post roll. You will be in the May 2015 group. Once you've learned to post roll you've got nothing left to do other than quit and start talking to folks on here. We're all the same...just a bunch of nicotine addicts ganging up on the Nic Bitch as we have come to know her. Use the PM and email system to communicate with people offline to get phone numbers for emergencies in addition to CHAT. Lots of folks have been pulled back from the edge by the fine folks that frequent the chat room. So, since you've taken the first step and posted an intro, why don't you come all the way in and help us Kill the Can.

Were here for Ya brotha. Post daily your promise to stay quit and that's it. Quitting is simple but staying quit takes practice and you will succeed if you keep your word. Take it 1 day at a time .
A quote I like by Sam Harris is " it is always now" . Don't worry about tomorrow or 2 weeks from now it is always now and every second your nic free your winning

Godspeed
The worst thing you can be is average

To achieve something you?ve never had before, you must do something you?ve never done before

You must do what others don?t, to achieve what others won?t

Men shouldn?t hide weakness, they should kill it
