Let me guess Walker, you don't like to ever apologize to anyone, is that it? It takes guts to come back after caving, but what did you expect? Accept the trashing that is due, be contrite, and you will get the support you are seeking, pretty simple.

If your apology contains the word "but" in it, it's not an apology - "I'm sorry, but you guys are big meanies". Try some humility or use the "ignore" button if certain people annoy you.
My dad used to say, 'Everything after 'but' is bullshit.'
What is your major malfunction?!?!?!?!

Ughhhh.... He answered the questions the day he posted roll and his answers didn't suck. Am I missing something?
Words and phrasing is the difference. Words and phrasing.
I'll be totally honest here and say I hate 'The three questions'. I think they are stupid, and worthless. One of the reasons I hate them is just for this reason. Anyone can type something that sounds good. Anyone can say anything to get people off their back. Another reason I hate them is because the first two are fucking worthless. I don't care what happened. I don't need to know the details. Furthermore, I already know WHY it happened. You're a weak addict.

The only REAL question worth anything, IMO, is number 3. What are you going to do differently? This is, in fact, the only fucking thing that matters, and I don't need a biopic about it, because, in fact, there is only one correct answer. The answer is, you are going to Post Roll every fucking day; you are going to Keep Your Word; and then you're going to repeat.

Everything else is white fucking noise to me.

Walker, I believe you to be a prick. Straight up. My opinion is that you like to buck the system, and argue, for the sake of arguing. You like to irritate people and be on the outside for some reason. My opinion, and frankly, so what? The only thing that matters is you:

1. Post Roll
2. Keep your WORD
3. Repeat

The problem is, you've been introduced to this before, and it hasn't stuck. 'We' get pretty fucking tired of people who come in her without the same seriousness we share for this, so you totally deserve the shit storm you are getting. You have a long way to go to earn the trust and support of a lot of people here. And, btw, all these people giving you shit...they all WANT to trust and support you. If they didn't give a shit about you, they wouldn't say a word.

Q - Day 2,496
Evidence of that is I support Elkslayer, who, like you WalkerM, is a 3 time choker. But he came in asking for help and support. If you want to do it "your way", do it somewhere else, but if you do it "your way' here, don't pout that you get no support.

Today is day 1. I said these exact same words almost 3 years ago. I came to KTC and got a real jump start on my quit.
1. What happened? I thought that I was stronger, that I knew myself, that I could do this on my own, so I left the site and stopped posting roll daily, I stopped getting in the chat room, I stopped reading HOF speeches. I started dipping again.
2. Why did it happen? It happened because I didn't truly understand what being an addict was and how once an addict you are always an addict and must work everyday to remain clean.
3. What will keep it from happening again? This time I will continue to post roll, this time I will keep in contact with the people I meet. I will lean on others for support and be here for them when they need support.

Today is day 1, I am quit one day at a time.
Seems like you thought about it for a little bit. Are you ready to embrace it all again? How long were stopped for and what group were you in before?
I know it's going to be rough, but I understand that the people here have all been there before or are going through the same thing. I quit for 28 days(posted roll for 22-24?) June 2014 was to be my HOF class. I would be over a 1000 days quit, if I hadn't given up on myself and let my group down.
Did you post your answers in March sir? Rip the bandaid off and lets start this quit.
I did, it was almost embarrassing. I am pretty ashamed that I wasn't strong enough to stay quit. However, I am just rolling those feelings into my quit now and will use them as motivation to stay quit.
Those are not your words. Glad your taking them as your own.

Step back and look at yourself. You are the reason we are beathing down your neck.
In all fairness, he's not saying they are his words. its how the "cut and paste" shows up. Those last words are the other guys. The point he's making is stupid, but he's not saying those are his words. When you copy and paste, it doesn't "quote" the first person.
That's right. Just a copy and paste error. There was no intent to take his words at all. I'll try to fix in the morning.

Edit...fixed

Look bud, quit being a little whiny ass, take the bullshit, quit getting pissed and start quitting. You know the best question asked is what you gonna do different this time. Obviously last time it didn't work. You know I use to really get pissed at people who caved but it was because I was jealous in my addict brain that I wasn't feeding my addiction and they were. Now I feel almost sorry for cavers because you got to feel so ashamed of going back on your word. I will pat you on the back for having the balls to come back. If I for some god awful chance caved, I would be so ashamed don't think I could come back. So I guess what I wanna know is do you really have the right to be pissed? Humble yourself and answer the questions from the heart. It really does help everyone. I will quit with you Edd when you prove you want this more than anything else, because to me that's the attitude it takes to get this done. You may ask who the hell are you? Really I'm no one but on the other hand I'm someone who dipped 38 years of my 52 here on earth and have been quit 747 day's so I would say I'm sold on ktc and it's definitely the reason I'm still quit and I just spent at least 10 minutes on someone I don't even know because yes your damn quit is that important to me!
Tobacco is so addictive it took me a year after a massive heart attack, in which doctor confirmed caused from dipping to finally put a lid on the bitch! ODAAT EDD

Funny, another caver enters April and gets a pat on the ass and since he has his paperwork in order and says all the right words, he is welcomed with open arms. What a load of shit that is...

I'll work on forming the right words and making it sound good for you all.

This post tells me you aren't getting it as much as you think you are. It isn't a "whoopsy daisy I made a boo boo" once you're at KTC. I said it before, but I'll say it again, your roll post every day is a promise. When your failure "just happens to be here" that means you went back on your word and banging a can was more important to you than the quitters that posted alongside you that day. You are right about one thing, we're all addicts. No more, no less. The true bad ass quitters are the ones that quit with more ferocity than the depth of their addiction. There is not one humanly reason available to you that is a good enough reason to go back on your word and cave. Not one. To succeed, you will have to believe that at some point.
