I'm going to be getting rid of my can collection and any signs of the nic bitch.
I'm not having many urges to dip right now as my stomach is giving me hell, I can hardly eat.
Hang tough bud. And get pissed at how a little plant in a can is making you feel. Brighter days are ahead. And trash the trophy can collection!

Glad to see you on roll, day 2. That means today is in the books. You are doing great.
I quit with you on this fine snowy day (check local listings). Day 2 can be a bitch, what is your plan to get through it and the weekend?

Noodle one thing for sure you need to realize we're all addicts here! This is definitely not a habit. A habit is picking your nose and digging in your ass. We quit hard. Own this quit, it's yours! This shits hard. Your heads screwed up, foggy, dizzy, headaches bunch of bullshit! Constipation, diaharrea , I could keep going. See this is not normal but it is for an addict. Your body will eventually heal itself but for awhile you will be in constant battles both mentally and physically. I honestly think this site has saved my life. I dipped 38 years and tried numerous times to quit only to fail because noone really ever believed I could quit or acted like they gave a shit. Here the accountability is second to none. Now that your on roll, make it first 24 hours and sometimes that could be 5 minutes at a time but whatever it takes to make it 24 hours. Get to know your group, exchange numbers, read and fight this bitch to win your life back. Damn proud to quit with you today!
Tobacco is so addictive it took me a year after a massive heart attack, in which doctor confirmed caused from dipping to finally put a lid on the bitch! ODAAT EDD

Noodle you are in my quit group. Post roll and read up as much as you can. Occupy your time here and get whatever you need (fake dip, seeds, gum, etc.) to satisfy the oral fixation. Get some number from the guys in the group we have to hold one another accountable and serve as lifelines when needed. The first few days are atrocious so get a network going. We are all in this together buddy!

Are you done dipping and is it all flushed down the toilet? There will be support be you need to be QUIT.

Also, quit tobacco and nicotine because it is an evil fucked up product, not only for health reasons. Get yourself on roll and I'll quit with you all day long.
Exactly ^^^

Fear Quitting never really cuts it. As soon as the immediate crisis passes... the ol' addict inside pipes up and declares that a "celebratory" dip is in order. That cycle just breeds itself, man.

Quit today... with those of us who know and can help.
You got this noodle. Man up and listen to these all star quitting bashtads that proceeded me. Hate nic for what it steals from you, hate it for the time it steals
and hate it for its addictiveness. Be active in your quit and make sure you post roll every day, every day your name needs to be on roll. It's the sure fire way to success.
I do not see you in Feb '17 roll yet, you have to post roll and then that day is just honoring your word. topic/30053935/106/#new
Proud to be quit with you today. JGlav - 441

I agree with all of the above, those are some great quitters stepping in to help you already. Also, READ READ READ all you can to understand the addiction. There's a link to a good article in my signature line, below. There are other articles here on the site. And read intros of other quitters, as many as you can, start to finish, here in the Intros. You'll see so much of you in the stories. Your stomach symptoms sound so familiar to me whenever i would stop for a few days. Deep terrible gas pains, irregular bowels, and some of the nastiest farts - like i was eating road kill or something!

Collectively, we've all been where you are. You really have to jump in and be determined. Good to reach out like you have, now give it all- it gets hard but you live through it. You have to earn the freedom, the tobacco is engineered to fight back via addiction. Go get it, we're with you!
This info helped me early on, and still does today: https://whyquit.com/whyquit/linksaaddiction.html

Quitters I’ve met so far: Ihatecope, >Pinched<, T-Cell, grizzlyhasclaws, Canvasback, BaseballPlayer, Cbird65, ERDVM, BradleyGuy, Ted, Zeno, AppleJack, Bronc, Knockout, MookieBlaylock, Rdad, 2mch2lv4, MN_Ben, Natro, Lippizaner, Amquash, ChristopherJ, GDubya, SRohde  -- always eager to meet more!

Welcome.

Everything they said, plus - understand this is an addiction. You are addicted to nicotine every bit as much as a heroin junkie is addicted to heroin. Once your hemorrhoids are cleared up, your addict brain will try to convince you that it's time to get back to the tobacco. Your addict brain will fuck with you.

That's where the daily promise we make by posting roll is so important. You promise yourself, your quit group, and every single member of this community that you will not use nicotine in any form for the rest of the day, then you make the same promise tomorrow. Be a man of your word, and keep your promise. Quit for one day, every 24 hours. That's how we do it. It's not easy, but it is simple.

Find your Feb. '17 quit group. Post roll, and do the same thing tomorrow. There are instructions within your quit group thread, and also in the Welcome area. It will seem confusing at first, but don't worry. The only way to screw up roll is by not being on it.

Being accountable to a group of internet strangers seems weird. But, after a while your Feb. quit brothers and sisters will be like a second family.

Post up your promise, keep your word, refuse to cave, reach out when you need help. That's how it's done, and it works.
