At 100 days I didn't think I had my nicotine addiction beat in any form. In April I'll hit one year and still have bad days. I feel like applauding him for having such a strong quit so quick but something tells me nicotine not done with him. I put to much work into my quit to walk away.

Do they have a program for people that just take? And for folks that want the spotlight??

Just curious if you have looked into that...

You call everyone else names... Yet, you choose to take away from your "brothers" accomplishments...

You say your are the grand master of addiction (paraphrasing) yet you don't stay on an addition forum to help others find the light

When you look deep inside, do you think you are helping others? or are you just taking? Only you can answer that for yourself.

We do say burn your boats here... but burning your bridges, that's not always the smartest plan.

Good luck to you. I mean that.

You're right, I was clearly acting "holier than thou" by stressing the importance of posting roll and basically telling you not to walk away from those who have quit beside you for 100 days. I'm sure you are (were) an important brick in many a person's quit foundation, and you just want to take that brick away. Every cave I've seen is because people fail to post roll and I don't want that to happen to you. Yup, I'm an asshole.

Good luck man, and I mean that.

First off, I stopped posting Roll at 98...Not 100

I don’t know what your deal is either and the “holier than thou” crap is main reason for the bad smell around here.

Because the truth is you donÂ’t know me, and you donÂ’t know more about addiction than I do - you may know as much, but I really doubt you know more.

I do HAVE some new tools as a result of being here, I’m grateful for that - “take what works” right.

Fact is, this has been a nicotine detox center for me (they should have those), I will roll this substance abuse treatment into my current recovery program.
I do not have separate programs for:

Marijuana
Beer
Whiskey
Cocaine
Heroin
Pain pills
Meth
Acid
Etc

I donÂ’t need a separate program for nicotine.

See, addiction is all the same really, the substance use and behaviors (gambling, eating, sex, etc) are the symptoms, they are not the problem. Certain ones may burn you to the ground faster than others, and they way they screw with you brain chemistry is different, but the core fundamentals are the same.

We do these things to change the way we feel, plain and simple.

The real issue is why do we need to change the way we feel? That is the problem.
Why canÂ’t we just be ok?
No chemicals, no external stimulation, just be comfortable in our own skin...

To be free, one must get down to causes and conditions, focus on the inner being, figure out whatÂ’s up with the spirit, the soul.

All the great teachers said go within...

True Freedom exists

That said, if KTC is your only tool, IÂ’d suggest not putting it down, if itÂ’s working, keep working it.

The difference with me is I have a face to face support system, the likes of which few of you can imagine, donÂ’t assume you know whatÂ’s best for me.

IÂ’m gonna continue to be fantastic, I have recovered, and continue to practice recovery, if you watch those videos and donÂ’t see that, well so be it.

You sound lik3 a man that is very confident in his quit but I think that you are somebody trying to justify yourself instead.

Ktc is a tool. Is it my only tool? Nope. It is what I base my quit on. Making it to 100 days meant I never had to post roll again because I had the tools to stay quit, well, I'd have over 4000 days quit. You see, I was a s5opper here in 2006. I talked about addiction like I I knew 2hat was up. I even put up a nice little speech. I just didn't make friends that called out bs when I left. I was aloof.

I failed.

It wasn't immediate but I failed.

And it hurt because I didn't know why. I was convinced because i was different from other people. Turns out I wasn't.

Honestly man, post up. I want you to be quit. I'm glad you have all these programs developed to quitting all sorts of shit. I'm glad you have a knowledge about addiction. If this ain't your cup of tea, walk away. I ain't going to applaud you. Stop looking for attention.

Day 100

Think I'm done here, who the fuck knows

I plan to continue with other content elsewhere
Congrats man.

Not sure what your deal is but I hope it works out for you ultimately.

I've seen thousands of quitters give a "100 days and I'm good" speech and seen quite a few of them come back not sure what happened when they showed back up with a day 1. Addiction is tricky like that. The moment that you think you got it...you stumble. The minute that you think you've won, you realize that the enemy is yourself. Please take care of yourself today and I expect to see you here tomorrow.
Being on your phone while driving is extremely dangerous....

And in many states illegal.
Been a big fan of this quit from the get go, but IÂ’m going to be honest...not a fan of what I just read. Hopefully I, along with others are misinterpreting what you wrote, but if I didnÂ’t, I feel compelled to say the following: If you learn anything, just one thing ...itÂ’s the value of posting roll every day. You walk away from posting roll every day, you risk losing everything you have achieved in your nicotine quit. Dog, youÂ’ve developed a following, quit brothers, and I would venture some bonafide friends. All within a short 100 days. Taking your show elsewhere is not the answer. Trust me, building upon these 100 days, making the quit bigger than you is worth every dime of effort.
