The poison sucks. I hate it. I hated it this morning, I hated it at noon, I hated it at supper and I hate it tonight. I enjoy hating it so much I'm going to wake up tomorrow and start over hating it. I quit with anyone that wants to hate it with me.

Hey everyone sorry for not posting up yesterday. Everything went good yesterday just had a horrible headache. Went to the lake and blew off some steam. Then I got a family reunion all day today. Thanks Shawn for making sure I'm doing good!

Per our texts,,, I got a sense you are really taking this quit seriously. Very pleased and sense you really want this.

You mentioned you had friends that dipped. I also have friends that dip and I work with several friends i.e. working associates.

I'll say it just like you already know it. It's hard!! My worst times early in my quit were when I was around my friends and others that dipped. I can smell it and see it a mile away. If the wind is pointed in the right direction I can smell it maybe 2 or 3 miles away. We defeat our triggers by dealing with them one at a time. It gets easier and easier every time you come in contact with SLAVES TO THE POISON.

I had a friend the other day get to close and I about gagged. I can't believe how much I loved that smell. It smells like a skunk fart! 'crackup' I can't stand the smell of it anymore. You won't be able to stand it either.

No this,,, One day,, not to far from now your quit will strengthen. Your friends will be watching. They will see that it's possible to quit their disgusting sickening addiction. This is also another form of accountability. Your quit is very important to them. Your quit can one day save their lives. This is another reason caving is not an option. A cave is detrimental to not just yourself but everyone that you can help. ODAAT AND NAFAR. Quit with you.

Not uncommon. Way to stay calm and work through.

Don't listen to that Lucius guy either. "Stop thinking about it" is waaaaaay easier said than done and by all means turn to us for support if you need it. I assume that's why you came here to begin with. Quitting on your own is tough, sure its not IMPOSSIBLE, but doing it with a group is much easier, especially in the beginning. I'm sure as you progress you will need to lean on us less and less and may even find yourself offering your shoulder to new guys. Also I don't think the Internet thing is just gonna disappear tomorrow, so I wouldn't stress too much over that either.

Jesus Christ, that was some of the worst advice ive ever read on this site.

Hey, no one said this was easy, you told me you've tried and failed to quit before - you know this is hard. I should have asked you this in my first reply - Do you WANT to quit? If you do this is the right place. If you're not sure - you don't have a very solid foundation to build a quit on. If you don't - this site and all the members here can not quit for you - we'd love to but you own this - you quit or fail to quit on your own. You can have more support than you ever dreamed of if you make KTC part of your quit though. Besides having 15,000 quitters doing this with you there are a ton of guys here who have been quit for a LONG time. They know things that can help you. Bottom line - quitting takes balls, big fuckin balls. Hope you have em, we do.

yes i want to quit, i dont want to be 40 with half of my bottom jaw missing cuz i was to f-ing stupid to quit while i was ahead. i have a long life to look forward too and i dont wanna be hiding in a closet for the rest of my life cuz i had half my face removed

Don't let Adiqq's judgement determine your belief. Look at what I wrote, and look at my own example, and decide for yourself whether or not my words hold uncommon wisdom. Trolls live under bridges. This site isnt about trolls. Its about quitting tobacco. Judge me by my fruits. I will judge you by yours.

Hey brother, I know your pain! Stop thinking about it and stop turning to others for support. If you cant wuit on your own, then you can't quit. What if the internet went down tomorrow and you could never again log in to kill the can? What would happen to all of these people who rely on others to quit through daily rolls?

Here is a copy of a message I wrote to another quitter. Take it as my opinion.

Hey, its your brother Lucius here,

Ignore those faggots who doubt you for failing to post roll. You don't need that shit. Tobacco cans come in rolls, and those bitches love it.

As for you, TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE!!!!

Believe me, brother to brother, I know the temptation. I quit over a month ago after ten years of dipping daily. That beautiful round tin, the raised letters on the metal, that sweet aroma. FUCK THAT SHIT. Its called cancer!!!! Its called DEATH!

Brother, I dont care if you never post roll again, I WILL NOT JUDGE YOU. The fact is, if you never put a dip in your lip, you have won. Posting roll is just one method. Some of us actually have shit to do, so we dont have time for sucking up to each other.

Brother, whatever category you may fall into, remember this. Each time you place that dip in your lip, your mind starts to tick. you feel that burn, you wonder "is it a tumor forming?" You buy that can and you ask "Is it cancer, or a rash?" You kiss your girlfriend and you think, "Will she taste my bloody gums?"

The answer is YES.

Tobacco kills. Congrats on tobacco alts. Everyone has different preferences, but I have found that Smokey Mountain wintergreen is great for me (if you dip wintergreen.) You can find it at many Wal-Marts.

If you did in fact relapse, its cool. Don't kill yourself over it (the tobacco is doing it for you), instead say "Lucius was a pussy. He sucked a leaf for ten years like a slave bitch, but then he broke free. So can I."

I am here with you my dear friend. I want you to survive. If you keep buying dip you WILL die. Its SOOOOOOO hard to quit, but YOU'VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES.

Its not posting roll. Its not chatting with quitters. Its keeping your bottom lip empty of tobacco no matter what. Fill it with herbal chews, altoids, gum or whatever, but don't let that tobacco in.

GOOD LUCK!!!!

-Lucius DeBorgia

Its hard leaving your true love . The one you've snuggled up close to every night. The one you couldn't wait to get up with, spend precious time with. The one that you love more than your wife, kids, family and even self.

All the while, your true love taking anything and everything it can from you. Money, dignity, integrity. Ultimately, tounge, jaw, throat. Possibly your life. Maybe your family would even bury your one true love with you. Put it right in your hand so you can hold it eternity.

Bro, your going to have to take your life back.. The poison is not just going to give it back. Ask yourself,,,, am i worth it. Let me answer for you, because the poison will not let you answer correctly.

Yes!!! Your worth it. Your worth every crave. Your worth every sleepless night. Your worth everything you have to endure during this quit. Screw the poison. Your friends are slaves bro. Your in Control.

Last,, and most importantly.. You made a promise today. Me and 1000's of others expect you to keep that promise. Suck it up. Its worth it!! Quit with you.
Welcome to quit cowboy. Listen the srans, this guys knows what he is talking about. It is not easy to get free from the clutches of nicotine, but it can be done and it is worth it. It is so worth it. Keep that promise today, and then make a promise again in the morning. I will quit right along with you.
