Well, I managed to take a can-a-day habit, and trade it for a can-a-day habit. Smokey Mountain Wintergreen is the shiznit.

Good part=no Cancer from SM 'Finger'
Bad= SM is twice the price, and tough to find. Have to order sleeve at a time 'bang head'

Plus, I'm a bit worried about this whole "oral fixation" thing. I have seeds, but the fake stuff instantly takes away any crave for me
Order it online. Not sure where yours from but sm is half the price for me here in Florida.

I order a sleeve of peach for 36 bucks on line from the sm website.
Oh and I've gone from a can of it a day, down to 1 can per two days and just this week one can is lasting 3 days.
I'm more addicted to the physical need than I would have thought or would have liked to believe.
Fortunately a lot of the guys say that one day they are up and just don't need it anymore.

Good luck brother. Stay strong and stay quit.
Get it where you can, and use it as much as you need.

I needed the fake shit too. Mine was Hooch Spitfire, but to each his own.

Don't worry about the fixation, trust me. I used the fake for the first 200+ days, like it was my job. Then one day, I just forgot to put one in. Pretty soon, I just stopped. I haven't used fake dip in years.

Don't forget - every time you don't cave - you win.

Semper Fi.
Use what ever works for you now, the fake shit is easy to quit after some time. As has been pointed out previously you are joining one of many Marines on here. Damn proud to see you Sieze the day immediately in lieu of waiting around for a planned quit, planned quits lead to planned caves.

I choose every day to quit, and I hope to see you back in here tomorrow too.
Piling on! Nice job bro! Semper Fi!

Congrats sir - you and I have quite a bit in common...both teachers, quit the same day, and had a chew in every waking hour for years on end. Sure feels great to be quit! We see the Hanover "Nighthawks" in our District III wrestling circuit. I'm the coach in the corner without the chew in. Thank you for your service and stay quit bro. PM away if you ever need it.

Day 7...not really foggy, but man oh man am I a fucking RAGE machine. Wow. The wind could set me off right now.
Amen. Day 7 for me as well, and I feel the same. I may be leaving work early today whether I want to or not.
Hang in there boys - that rage will absoulutely subside with time. In the meantime, I found that running, lifting weights, etc. was a great way to burn off that rage (and counteract the weight gain that many of us deal with when quitting)

chewie
Take a breath Marine. This will pass.

I was a complete wreck at first, and just like you, wore my temper on my sleeve.

It gets better.

Remember - rage here. We know what's happening, and we can take it.

When you need to rage... do it in here. Don't take it out on anyone that does not deserve it. We know what you are going thru and can take it. Let it rip.

Keep at it today!

Day 5 of no chew...had a major crave today...ran out of Smokey Mountain Wintergreen. Ran to store, only fake stuff left is straight. This shit is nasty. Ordered direct from the company
I live in the middle of no where, so I had to order my stuff online.

I had a sleeve of Hooch Spitfire on me the entire time for the first 200+ days. Then one day, I jus didn't put one in. I do keep a few cans of Oregon Mint Snuff pouches around, but more becuase they are good mints than for craves.

You can do this devil.

If you need a number PM me and mine is yours. That goes for all you other knuckle-draggers.
