So, as you all know my car is in the shop. I am driving a rental. I come to find out while I am driving this rental, a small rock hits the windshield and now there is a 6 - 8 inch crack. Now I have to pay for that.... Just NO luck with automobiles this week. I am at a month quit though.
Matt believe your insurance takes care of that. Proud of you on the mnth! Quit on!
Insure does take care of it, but the windshield will more than likely be less than my deductible. Even if it is more than my deductible, I really do not want 2 claims within a week on my insurance.

So, today I was going out to the family's land to plant my food plot for deer season. I was traveling down the highway at 70MPH and all of a sudden I hit a coyote that came out of no where. My car is not drivable. I had to call insurance, while on the side of the road and file a claim, so I could get roadside assistance. The first lady I talk to was just fine, but the actual roadside assistant lady was a STUPID BITCH. Her attitude was not right at all. She also did not know how to "Locate me" although I gave her the Highway and which highways I was between (only about 10 miles of road) or the difference between FUEL and ANTIFREEZE. As I sat there and spoke to her, all I could think about was THIS DUMB BITCH and a dip. I did NOT cave. I was on the phone for about 50 mins. I then had to wait another hour for the tow truck to get there. I finally got towed and got back home and drove another vehicle out there and planted my plot. It was a HORRIBLE and STRESSFUL day and was a hell of a test not to succumb to the nic bitch. I SO hope tomorrow is a better day. Oh and that coyote fucked up my car. I just wanna say 'Finger' this day.
We all have those type day's, that's when we have to put on our big boy drawers and move on. I try to look at the positive side, at least it wasn't a deer and didn't come through your windshield and hurt you. Proud of you for the win, sounds like a true test. Keep winning it's so worth it! Damn proud to be quit with you today my friend!
Did the coyote make it? I guess that doesn't really matter. Keep it up Matt, you're beating that bitch ODAAT and day 24 looks good on you bud (no homo).

Day 22 and it feels good. I still feel like I want a dip almost every morning, but once I get through the morning it is a bit easier. Sometimes I feel like I want a dip SOOOOOO bad and I just throw some Jack Link's Jerky Chew Teriyaki or Smokey Mountain Wintergreen in my lip and I am good. I am thinking also about using a vape with e-liquid that has no nicotine in it (I used to vape some too). Not sure I am going to do that or not yet.

Once again I would like to thank everyone on this site. Just going through a reading what everyone has gone through or is going through makes me feel not so alone at this. Last time I quit I was only quit for 90 days, but I did not quit for myself. I quit for my at the time girlfriend. I now realize you DO have to quit for yourself and no one else. I know we are not supposed to worry about the future, but I am worried about November and deer hunting, as that is ALL I would do is dip while I am out there. I will let everyone know BEFORE I go out hunting, as I am not sure I will be able to post roll, as I barely get any signal out there and some spots are dead.

Let's keep this ship sailing and not let pirates(the nic bitch) take it over!
As long it has no nicotine I say go for it(edit: if it helps your quit, not just something new that will make you want something else like cigs). I didn't realize the made vapes like that.
Matt, you're doing great! Keep doing what you're doing. Hell it's gonna always be something that triggers you, just do what you been doing, man up and kick bitch to the curb! Damn proud to call you a quit brother!

Day 19 was super easy. Only had to use Smokey Mountain once. Loving not having a nasty ass dip in my mouth all the time and not worrying about the sores in my mouth or receding gum line anymore. It feels really good, even at 19 days. I also have more energy. Maybe I will stop being lazy and start working out soon.

So Friday one of my coworkers came up to me with the biggest Grizzly Wintergreen can ever. I think it held the equivalent to 6 cans of dip and asked me if I wanted some. I said "No". He continued on saying stuff like "One time won't hurt" or "Come on man don't be a pussy". He also held it up to my face and said "Smell". It was VERY hard not to take a dip, but I did not take any. Immediately after he left, I took a pinch of my Smokey Mountain Wintergreen. I was very happy with myself that only after 14 days, that I was able to say no. Oh and by the way, what a fucking prick to do that.
You show great strength in your quit, and great tolerance for assholes. Nice win, and next time throat-punch the fucker.
