I don't know anyone in my personal life that quit dipping on their own. I for sure never did. I had multiple stoppages but this is my first and last quit. I am taking this site and this method on faith. Seeing all these vets that have stayed quit for years and years is all the evidence I need. I don't feel the need to question or really understand the methodology of this organization. It obviously works and that is good enough for me. Post roll everyday, keep your promise to yourself and others and keep going. God, is it really so hard to do at least that? Sheeese!
For what its worth, I'm with you on posting roll. Whether you post roll or not, more power to you. We are all fighting the same demon. But that battle is different for each of us. The fight should unite us, not divide us. I won't post roll every day. Just not my deal. That doesn't mean that I don't support or need it though. I for one like this site. It has been the inspiration for my quit and there is comfort in knowing that I am not alone. Thanks to all of you.

As bad as I wanted a fellow cyclist to be successful, I wrote this one off quickly. If you are not involved enough to keep your group updated on your progress, then you sure aren't paying it forward and helping others. All of that equals a high failure rate.

No way this dude is going to make it.

SPECIAL BUTTERFLY.....
I am done posting on this site. The main people who post are self centered drama queens, who's main purpose on here and probably in life is to whine and bitch and create new problems on problems. Everyone's quit is different. Most of you say quit for yourself, but if someone doesn't post roll you get all butt hurt. Maybe he doesn't need to post roll every day because he is stronger willed than others.

I believe this site is wonderful to help someone start quitting, or someone stuggling to quit. But keep in mind that everyone heals differently. For example i have been extremely blessed and really have not has a hard time with my quit. I wish you all the best with your quit. I know I will remain nicotine free.
It kind of seems you are talking to me. I am certainly not self centered and I spent a lot of my time helping others on their quest of quitting. I have met a bunch of friends on here that I speak to each day.

We don't pull punches on this site and we are very serious about quitting.

Posting roll is the foundation of this forum and it's the price of admission.

Some people may not need it and they can go somewhere else and quit if they would like. Heck, it looks like you have been very successful quitting on your own in the past...

MTBerJ,
Come back, Quit, and we can celebrate 1 year together by doing this:

http://tourdivide.org/

Technically it starts in June, so year and a half :P I'm going to need that long to get in good enough shape to do it!

Hey man, I'm glad you came back and posted roll!

I hope that you can do better than posting once a week. It makes us all worry.

I'll PM my number and you can text me on days you can't post.

Chris
Once a week is not a daily promise. Glad you've found the site again but this program (and don't kid yourself...its a program) for nicotine cessation works when followed as directed. I'm not saying you can't quit posting roll once a week. Shit, may be once a year works for you...I dunno...I'm simple. And I'm an addict. I know showing up daily putting my word down and getting involved with the absolute badasses around this joint has shown thousands a path to continued freedom.
