Hey Keja, congrats on passing the road trip test! It seems that's a huge trigger for most or many, it certainly was for me. But isn't it a great feeling knowing you can get through hours of driving without a dip? Catching up on this thread here, W2W asked me to join in awhile back  I haven't. So reading as well about your dip dream. Yeah they suck. Big time. Proof you're winning though!
I just saw this now. Maybe I should keep up with my own thread more often haha.

I'm officially one month in now and I'm rapidly approaching the half way mark of the HOF. I've found myself using the fake stuff less and less lately. Another sign I'm winning the battle.

I have a couple friends who dip and some who don't dip that have said I'm going to cave like I did every other time before KTC. This is definitely a motivating factor in my quit.
Next time give em the ol' Degeneration X suck it

Made it through my first road trip. Minor craving but I blared some tunes and had seeds to pull me through.
Major victory Keja. Every little victory adds to your quit foundation. Good job.
Awesome victory Keja! Keep tacking them on bro!
Nice job on the victory, and nice job documenting it! The anticipation of the event was worse than the event. You can do this. One day at a time.

At $23/tin you've probably already saved enough for a Winnebego. Haha

Now I know what a dip dream is after last night...
Dip dreams suck!....Till you realize they aren't real. Then they are awesome cuz you can post another day.
It wasn't that intense other than I caved and bought a tin. Weird experience nonetheless.
They are tough. Especially at first. But they arecreminders that you are winning....

Thank you, all. I appreciate the feedback.

I believe my biggest test so far will be a 5 hour drive back to my home town on Wednesday. I've made this trip a lot the past four years being in University but now it'll be different.
Is it against the law to text and drive in Canada? If not PM your digits and I'll make sure you don't dip on Wednesday. Even if I have to send you hairy ball pics, it's better than you caving to a stupid weed. You have support now brother, USE IT!
It is against the law in Canada to text and drive. With a pretty hefty fine if caught.

I'll still check the forums here during driving breaks.
Alright, then stop every 20-30 minutes and text me, but you will not dip on Wednesday. Period. It's that simple. It's not easy, but it's not impossible. Don't be afraid any more Keja, jump in 100%, we'll be right here waiting.
KingNothing... I thought I was the only one you sent hairy ball pics to...?!?! Haha

Driving... Yep, I remember my first post quit drive too. You'll do fine sir. The anticipation is a killer, but the feeling of winning is sweet. Post your promise, keep your word. There's a whole bunch of people on the sidelines cheering you on. You've got this.
Keja, You can handle the drive. I took the bus to work a couple of days early in my quit to avoid the triggers of driving so I know what you are going through. Have you printed out the contract to give up? Make sure you have that with you in case you hit a no cell zone or battery issue. I still keep mine with me.

CJ
Don't be afraid.  You are not alone.
