We have a counter on the front page of the site that is quite useful as well.
That counter on the front page is pretty cool! 436 days free and saved almost $900. Damn.

I started a Google Sheet for myself as a way to track my days quit: The Quit Counter. It's simply made to tell you how many days quit you have from the current day's date.

If anyone would find this useful, send me a PM with your quit date and what you quit on that date and I will add you. You can then bookmark that link and it will take you back to the Google Sheet - automatically updating your day counter to the current date. Might be more applicable to those who aren't in a newer group maintaining a spreadsheet, or those quitting something other than dipping and want a counter.

Hope it helps!

I wasn't sure where to put this post, so please move it if it makes sense elsewhere.
Nice man.

We have a counter on the front page of the site that is quite useful as well. A few years ago, we even had a member create a Free App for android devices that texts you your day count each morning. I'll admit, I sometimes forget what day I'm on (1280 today). I post roll every day and when you get to a certain point, the specific number is not that exciting. It's the promise that matters.

Keep on improving things man. Always looking for new tools to yield.
In the end I Surrender, I and I alone accept that I have and always will have a Nicotene ADDICTION. It is my choice to quit, but I can't do it alone. I get to go down this path one time, I want to do it right. I recognize that my word, my integrety to you is on the line and is only as good as my actions. Caving is not an option in this plan-Eafman 7/11

I am not cured. I will quit one day at a time. I will continue to do what works. Posting roll everyday. To do otherwise would be foolish on my part. You can do this-Ready 12/11

To overcome your addiction you must comprehend what it means to fail-Razd 3/12

Theres a lot of people that come here, especially vets, that WANT to be reminded that they are addicts.-Tarpon 6/12

Just as a building starts with architectural drawings. Your daily quit begins with a promise.-Scowick 2/13

Here and now, focused on today, minute by minute, whatever it takes, I promise to all my bros and myself not to become a negative stat and stay quit!-krok 1/15

I want everyone to be quit. Even the assholes.-Probe1957 1/18

Sparrow,
Well brother it has been a long, curvaceous road for your quit! You came, stopped, caved, and came back again. Congratulations to you on hitting 100 days today.

I know that it is not easy to come back hear a ration of shit from several people including myself but you did it and you hit the HOF. Remember that today is merely a milestone. You have put your quit pants on one day at a time to this point.

Do not lose sight of that, come back tomorrow post up 101 and remember that today is the only day to worry yourself about.

I admire you for coming clean, staying through the tide and hitting a great milestone today. I trust that your January 2014 Group is as proud of you as I am to see you make it.

P.S. I wanted to resurrect your intro to make sure that you remembered the journey.

Sincerely,

Pinched
Well done!

Day 35 of KTC Quit: Round 2. Woke up feeling pretty shitty after having a dream that I caved. Felt pretty real at the time. Had the same "fuck it" attitude I did when I caved 35 days ago on day 93 of KTC Quit: Round 1. In the dream I was even back at the same place I was when I caved - almost like I had a chance to redo the whole thing and still fucked it up.

But, it was a dream. That's the only place you'll get me to cave, Nic Bitch!!! 'Finger'

Outside of that, feeling damn good. Looking back, that cave helped me more than I could have ever imagined. Big thanks to some bad ass quitters who have helped keep me in line: Sand_Fleas_Gotta_Eat, Boelker, Evil_Won, Scowick65, txredfish, and all those who jumped my ass when I was being a bitch! Haha. You guys rock and I can't thank you all enough. Busting my ass to pay it forward.

Way to man up and take this addiction on headstrong!

Sometimes, it unfortunately takes situations like this. With this said, may this entire experience continue to keep your eyes open to all the temptation around you. It will always be there. You and only you, can strengthen yourself daily.

Just today. Nothing more. Certainly nothing less.

I quit with you today.

It's a pretty shitty way to learn a lesson, but sometimes a lesson can add strength to your resolve.

We're glad you're still here. Own it.

Welcome back Sparrow! I was just getting caught up on your thread this evening. Way to dig deep and think thru your actions. It is always said that going thru the 3 questions is not a BS exercise and it is really for YOU! I can tell you took that to heart and thought it thru. Proud to be quit with you today. Now let's move forward and stay quit ODAAT!

Thanks for the reminder of why I don't want to start over. I'm not sure about forever, but I'm damn sure it won't happen today.

I'd recommend you point your wife to THIS LINK (Spousal unit FAQs) if you haven't already.

Remember that your addict buddies are following VERY well established psychological principles. They may be good dudes, but your quitting threatens a part of their tightly constructed justifications for dipping (a sideways application of cognitive dissonance theory).

Sparrow,

You have an awesome quit group(s). There is no shame in failing as long as you are resolved to defeat your addiction this time. I have been successful 150 days. I dont take tomorrow for granted; each day poses it's own risk. get with your new group and become a leader.

Duathman caved. Duathman came back and became a leader for my group and today he is clean. I am pretty confident tomorrow he will be clean too. You know why? Because he is involved with KTC.

I am quit with you today. I was sorry not to post your 100 days but I am very happy that you stuck around and owned up to your mistake. It was the right thing to do; I also know that it would be a hard thing to do.

If you need anything let me know
