Question for the Admins and Mods:

Sorry to bring this up in public, but I figure me asking would answer the question for everyone. And I do apologize if this has already been determined here on the message board.

Do we have to pick one site to post roll on? Or can we post on both? I'd like to post roll on both if that is allowed.

BTW, I'm a loyal person and I have no ill will toward Killthecan or anyone on it whatsoever. I'd like to post here forever. I'd also like to read and post over there too if that would be allowed.

An answer would be greatly appreciated.

Why would you want to walk away from a site that has given you this freedom?

We're not here to tell you which URL to visit. We're here to make sure that you doing everything in your power to stay quit.

I'm not asking to make you choose, but I guess it comes more from confusion. This site is more than just the people you dealt with. There are tons of people here that you haven't dealt with either. Hell, one of my favorite quit brothers Luby and I didn't say a word to each other until we were past our HOF. I run into all sorts of vets here that dole out wisdom all the time.

I understand wanting to post on both. I just don't know why you'd toss this site and its library of wisdom out of the equation completely.

Grizz.... I am not 100% sure why we need the mod/admin staff to weigh in on this issue. This is a free country and you should be able to post roll where you want and you should be able to help people quit nictoine where you want. I support anyone trying to help other people get away from this BS addiction that owned me for 25 yrs.

Here is the answer from my perspective (so it may not be worth a damn thing!).

You need to continue to post roll EDD! You need to give your word that you are quit. My recommendation is to continue to do it here and continue to help new quitters find their freedom. You are a great leader here at KTC. Knowing you and watching your quit evolve has strengthened my quit immensely  I know I am not the only one. I can tell you that without any doubt. There are new people signing up on this site daily  they need YOU. They need YOU to show them the light. That is how this works. We pay it forward.

This place is not totally broke, so don't think for one minute that you don't make a difference. If it was so broke then you would not be quit. Maybe there are some areas for improvement... there always are.

I look at it this way... If you choose to do other things as well and post roll on another quit site supporting other quitters, then so be it. Anything that strengthens your quit is good! However... I do know that your services are needed here my friend.

This site is about a group of people fighting a terrible addiction. Until 2 days ago I barely knew the admins or moderators existed. And I don't mean that as a slam... Part of what I live about this place is the self policing. I would be shocked if anyone cares what you do in the internet, as long as the red kool aid keeps posting here. We need bad asses like you on this site. Badly.

Thank you for all that you do. I'm not spending another minute worrying about the nonsense of this week. Quit hard today!

What's going to keep you quit?

I think one of the biggest problems here is that is the tone that is being portrayed. You do what you need to do to stay quit. I, personally, will be here if you need any help.

Please don't feel like you need to choose, but please, don't use our site to promote that product. Don't recruit, and don't vaguely advertise for it. We've gone through a lot in the last couple days, and it cuts me deep to see people I love degrade an organization that led us all to freedom.

However, we only have one enemy in this battle and her name is nicotine.

You can be members/post on multiple sites. Please just don't use our resources here to recruit others. Not implying that y'all would.

Bottom line: If you are helping yourself and others by quitting here and somewhere else, then more people are getting helped. That's the mission.

There are plenty of quitters (myself included) who are members of other quit sites.

I just prefer to post on my favorite one.
