Just one and you will be back where you started.

I've been dipping for many years and have tried to quit multiple times but never made it more than a couple months - usually just days. But I read the book called the Power of Habit. The author says that to break a habit/addiction you can't do it on your own. You need a community. Well I'm scared and I want to quit and I need some help. I am not good with computers, no Facebook etc. this is the first time I've posted on a board. Thanks in advance for anyone who takes time to reply. I'm not the type of person to ask for help but I don't want to fail again and tell myself stories. Yes I'm worried about cancer. And also worried and ashamed of what I might put my family through if it happens. I've got a favorite band that has a song that goes "I will change tomorrow, tomorrow I will change". That's what I've been telling myself for years. No more.
Congratulation brother on a massive accomplishment. The freedom you've earned looks so much sweeter than this day 1 post. You are the man. Enjoy typing that , every day!!!!!
Way to be Christopher! This is a huge milestone. Congrats!
Hell. Yes!

Commas are a true mark of total badassery! Way to crush it Chris!
Congrats on 1000 days quit!!!
Congrats on 1000 CJ!
You tote that fatass dangle well! Congratulations!
Nice comma ChrisJ!

Thanks! When I look back at that day 1 post I can vividly recall typing it out and wondering if I could possibly build the network of support that I knew I needed. Little did I know that there were caring thoughtful people ready to jump in and reach out. Life gives us many twists and turns, grief and joy over 1000 days, but the consistency of my friends here at KTC has never wavered. It felt good to type 1001 this morning!
Don't be afraid.  You are not alone.

Congrats on 1000. Thanks for all the support. I look up to guys like you. I'll be there one day, 360 actually, but the only way to get there is one day at a time. Congrats man
