Quitting is a marathon. Not a sprint.

You dodged a bullet last night out of ignorance/pride.

Quitting is easy when you want to. But that's also the reason why people spend hundreds and thousands of dollars TRYING to quit. They think that it is a momentary battle.

Quitting a string of momentary battles strung together.

There are/will be moments in your quit when it is the absolute last thing you want to do in this life physically. That's why we post roll, keep our words, and repeat. It's the good times that we practice for the bad. Control is the key word at all times.

You won yesterday. Yeah for you.

But you haven't proven shit to anybody by being a tough man this early.

Do everything in your power to protect your quit because we can't do it for you.
I wouldn't try it again tonight. Do some reading and you will see it is not only inadviseable to drink for a while IT IS A QUIT KILLER!

You have all been warned.

Will you heed to flashing red light????????
No Sunday roll call?
yeah.....dont see a post

In the end I Surrender, I and I alone accept that I have and always will have a Nicotene ADDICTION. It is my choice to quit, but I can't do it alone. I get to go down this path one time, I want to do it right. I recognize that my word, my integrety to you is on the line and is only as good as my actions. Caving is not an option in this plan-Eafman 7/11

I am not cured. I will quit one day at a time. I will continue to do what works. Posting roll everyday. To do otherwise would be foolish on my part. You can do this-Ready 12/11

Can someone make sure I posted Roll Okay? Also everyday I post?
Every day post roll to make your promise not to use nicotine in any form. Then honor your word. Once you see past the nic lies and believing her two things will happen. You will get freedom from the chain of death. You will feel better about yourself and get another chance at life. Just think of all the things you can do better this time.

The best part is you only have to quit for today and I can even do that. You don't have to worry about tomorrow or forever either because one day at a time we can face them too. Stay as close to the site as you need to, reach out and post um whats bothering you and you will do well.

Drink lots of water, like a glass every time you use the bathroom during the day. Also excersize at least 30 min a day walking or whatever. I used that time to blow off steam and work through the mental games.
Quit 8/14/12 and taking my life back one day at a time.

If you don?t control what you have access to, what you have access to will control you.

I?m trying to remind myself daily it?s not the absence of conflict that determines whether or not my relationships are healthy. It?s knowing how to handle the conflicts that will arise.

Character is who we are, not who we pretend to be. It's better to be shaped than to be fake.

Maybe I overlooked it, but I don't see your roll post. Did you post it in January HOF?
Right month, wrong year. You posted in January 2012. Your quit group is January 2013

You can find them here.

And no, you didn't post roll correctly, but that's ok. Many people fuck this up for a while. Here's how to do it.

Keep quit. Every day.,

I've been chewing Grizzly Wintergreen for almost 7 years. Went anywhere from 1/2 to over 1 tins a day the whole time. I quit yesterday at 5:45 which was my last and have not had anything with nicotine or tobacco since. My friend and I are both trying to fight through "the fog" any suggestions to try until find my own to help me get through it? Drinking lots of water and have Hooch which is ehhhhhh. Thanks everyone!
Go post roll. Like now. Like RIGHT NOW. Your quit group is January 2013.

Here's how to Post Roll

And here's WHY we post roll.

Welcome to the suck. This is the most important thing you will ever do in your life. Be sure to visit the Welcome Center. And spend HOURS on here reading. Check out the Hall of Fame speeches. They're very inspiring. And when you're done reading, read some more. There are thousands of nuggets you will pick up just by reading.

Be quit for today. Just today. Not tomorrow. Tomorrow will take care of itself. Just today.

Welcome aboard.
