Matt - I'm glad you've made this decision to free yourself from nicotine. Make sure you get over to the Welcome Center and check out all of the threads there. Also, get over to your Quit Group (May 2015) and post roll, if you haven't already. And then make it a priority to post roll first thing every morning. It is your promise to yourself and to this community that you will not use nicotine that day. It's something to grab ahold of when the cravings hit. And they will, believe me.
Also - a couple of housekeeping items, in case you are not aware. We don't 'try' or 'hope' around here - we just quit. Period. And that is from nicotine in all forms - so if you're using nic gum, patches, lozenges or another cheat, get rid of it and be quit. Fake dip like Smokey Mountain or Jake's or any of the others are fine, if it helps you get through the day. But they must be 100% tobacco and nicotine free.
