Well, last night was rough. Had some strange dreams and didn't sleep well at all. Had to cancel my jog this morning due to weather, so the day is already getting F'd up.

I'm using some of the Smokey Mountain mint pouches and it is really helping with the need to have a dip. Anyone used this stuff long term (6 months)? Just wondering if I'm not creating another addiction I'll have to break......

Yep... I'm done with this crutch I've used for way too many years. I know it's going to get really dark before I come out the other side, but I'm committed to kicking this addictions ass!
Any day without tobacco is better than a day with. Embrace the suck. I quit with you today.
It gets dark as night my brother......until the skies open with a light you forgot was there. I quit with you all day today.
Some of my fondest and clearest memories are peeing in places that aren't bathrooms.

Hi all,

Glad to be here and hope I can give some insights and recieve some assistance with my journey to be nicotine free. I am on "Day 2" of being dip free and it has been a rough 28 hours so far. A coworker told me about this forum so I decided to join up as I can use any help I can get.

I have used smokeless tobacco (Copenhagen) for 35 years and its time to give it up! I've always had some excuse or another for not quitting that day, but yesterday morning I just spit out my dip and then: threw in trash or gave away all my snuff.
so what your saying is "You're done".??? threw it away??? Ready to buckle the belt up tight and quit like fuck??? I'm with ya because it just aint worth it. Let's get it Mid.

Midcon,

Brother I feel your pain. I was a Cope freak for almost 40, except for a brief stop for about 14 months in the mid 90s. The next week (or more) is gonna SUCK, but we can get through it together.

Saw where you posted roll (excellent)...stay on it daily...read as much as you can (lots of good info here). Build a network. Addicts helping addicts....

Proud to be quit with you today, tomorrow, and every damn day that follows.

Thanks for the welcome.... The fogginess and irritability are a real pain in the ass. I hope it gets better soon as it is effecting my job performance at work and my home life.
