Wow today is my HOF day. Doesn't seem real. It seems like I just started this journey. Well in reality I have just started. HOF is nice and all but it was never my goal. I had no doubt that I could do 100 days I'm just built that way. I can endure anything for short periods of time. Today becomes the real test. Continuing to chalk up +1s. I would like to thank everyone that helped me get to this point. I would name names but I don't want to miss anyone. You know who you are any way. I'm not ready to do my HOF speech yet but here are some things I have learned in my short time here that may be helpful to others.

- I am an addict and after 100 days I am not cured. I still get craves. In fact I had some pretty bad ones two days ago. They are a lot easier to deal with now. That voice that tells me I can just run up to the gas station and grab a can so I can feel "normal" again is gone. A piece of Trident usually does the trick. If not I go to a fireball. I still use fake from time to time, but not very often.

- I have learned to live with the disappointment that I will never be "cured" I honestly never really tried to quit before and I thought that at some point that I would be "cured" of this addiction.

- This place works!!! If you come in and drink the Kool Aid, work the program, and build accountability with your quit brothers and sisters you can be successful at quitting.

- Being involved here strengthens your own quit. Reaching out and helping others has strengthened my own quit.
OK so today is the day!
Congrats on your quit
I quit with you today,
been a journey and still travelin!

you are one badass quitter and have learned a lot and have taught me some things. Peace brother.

Tjschu,
FUmanchu!!
I'm a few days early, but I've been sporadic on the KTC lately. So, i wanted to drop by and tell you how proud i am to be quit with you today. It's been great watching you from the Day 1.
You're one of my Live Chat bros...thx for the brotherhood.
I hope I've been as much of a help to keep you quit as you have been for me.
Quit hard, quit strong.
In a few days you'll be headed aboard the HoF express, enjoy the day, be proud, and keep posting ODAAT.

~Chick
Chick I can't thank you enough for helping me get through that first month or so of my quit. I think I was in Live Chat every night. It gives me comfort still seeing your name pop up in different places on here. Thank you for showing me how to be a BAQ. I can only hope that I do half as good a job as you do at giving back to this site. I am damn proud to quit with you today and EDD after that!

Lol I pulled an old stunt in a new way today. Before I quit if I sensed my local gas station was low on Cope I would buy the last roll that they had. Today I was in Walmart and I asked how many tins of SM classic were in left in the box. The box turned out to be empty but the cashier found a brand new box. Yeah I bought the whole box! 'winker'
IÂ’ve probably mentioned this before but I am too lazy to check... :P

Fake chew - IÂ’m never going to bother with that stuff. By the time I quit I actually hated putting the real stuff in my lip. If I thought about it too much I would gag and get a little acid reflux. I somehow forced myself not to think about it for hours at a time just so I could keep the dip in my mouth and get my fix. It was a self-imposed agony that I put myself through every day. I find myself still gagging every now and then when I chew sugarless gum. ItÂ’s made me realize that I had come to the point where the oral fixation wasnÂ’t even that primary for me anymore. It was all about getting the nicotine in my system anyway possible.

I quit with you all.
