Today is day one for me, and I am hurtin big time. 'bang head' I chewed for ten years 1-1.25 tins a day skoal mint pouches. I have 2 daughters 1yr and 3 yr old. I was able to quit no problem when I found out I was pregnant, but as soon as they were out the chew went in. I have been married for 6 years and my husband chews also, but not nearly as much as I did. I used him as an excuse for me not to quit because he wouldn't quit. I'm done being a weak ass!!! AHHHHHHHHHH
Sorry I'm hating life right now, but am anticipated it to get better
Bumping your Day 1 post back to the top. Who was that person?...You're a quitter now and the person staring back at you in the mirror is one helluva badass quitter. Make sure that person never has to say things like "I'm hurting big time" or "I used X as an excuse not to quit..." You're free now; no longer a slave to that can. You are free to do all the simple gratifying things in life without having a turd in your lip.

Jen, your last 100 days have been quietly inspiring. Posting roll at a 100% clip, supporting other new quitters on their roll, all the while holding true to your word every damn day. Congratulations on this HUGE milestone. Like Doc says "rinse and repeat"...cuz it just keeps getting better and better from here.
I love reading success stories! Nicely said Steak. And very very nicely done Jen! Congrats.
Steakbomb - Not nice. I thought she CAVED the day after she HOFed. Whew. Heart actually started racing.
Gratz on the 100% and the hundo, I hope you enjoyed your day! Done4, Lrn2read......
Sorry I'm a day late Jen. I'll quit with you today.
Congrats on your quit Jen. Steakbomb nailed it. We are like different people than we were 100+ days ago. Quit with you EDD girl.

CONGRATS ON 100 DAYS JEN! "You are NOT cured" but you have reached a great milestone in your quit. I remember an apprehensive and irritated lady that wasn't sure she could do this. You proved to yourself that you have what is needed to do this every day! I'm gonna quit with you again today but never forget those days, those struggles, those wins and today! Proud of you! Also very glad I was able to meet you! I'll be back up in your neck of the woods again so I will see you then as well!

Nicely done, Jen.

Thank you all for the Birthday wishes! I have to say it has probably been one of the best birthdays I have had. Last birthday I just started chewing again after I had my baby. Birthday before that I snuck my first chew after being quit for 3 months. The birthday before that I dreamt of chewing and said out loud I wanna chew because I was pregnant. I am sooooooo done with that nasty shit. I would be so lost if I didn't have this site. I honestly want to kick nicotine square in the balls for making me such a slave.
