Posted on Jan. 3, 2014 in your other intro:

Hi Henry. I posted a little response in your other introduction, as I did not know that you had posted another entry. Never the less, some helpful Moderator will combine the two. Anyway, it has been a couple of days since you joined us and have had numerous responses posted in both your introductions, but you still have not posted roll. Please do not waste our time with further posts or statements about how much you really want this...you apparently want what is inside that little can of dip a hell of a lot more than you want our help. One day you will grow some balls and decide that you are done with nicotine and its hideous addictive qualities and effects on the body and will come back here pretending to be a brand new quitter seeking admission into our select quit club. But until the dawn of that day rises, let some other group (like Lite) coddle your little nuts, wipe your nasty ass and tell you how everything will be wonderful and happy. Wayne

PS: Do not call the number I sent you by pm until you are ready to play by our rules...not yours.

Welcome aboard Henry. You still have not posted roll, so lets address that first. . Joining us means you will do a few things. First and foremost, you will post Roll. Roll is your daily promise to yourself and all of your new brothers and sisters that you will not use tobacco in any form that day. You will post your name and the number of days you are quit each day in the April, 2014 quit group. Each and every day you will post your promise. No exceptions. That is the price of admission to KTC. Nothing more and nothing less. The reason you are put in April is that will be the month if you join us today that you will celebrate being 100 days free of nicotineÂ…your Hall of Fame date. Congratulations on making the best decision of your young life.

Now that you know the basics, it is time to read all you can on this site. Go to the welcome center and that will get you started. Post roll and look up at your inbox (1). That is a personal message from me with my telephone number. Lets get your quit started today. Wayne

So far so good. I feel as if I'm just used to the feeling of having a dip in, sunflower seeds seem to work just as well. But I still have all day to go.
Need to keep just 1 intro page going. Stick with the Add Reply buttons or Quote buttons. A moderator will merge the 2.

Did not see your roll post... That should be your first move before you get into your intro. Find your Quit group page... April 2014. Follow the directions in the Welcome Center. It is confusing at first, but you will get it. We all do.

Seeds are great idea today.

Let's get you posted up with ROLL!
Hey man, i hear a bit of confidence in your tone here. Thats good...in small doses. I pm'ed you my number. Use it when you need anything. Focus on today. Tomorrow can wait.

Henry listen to these guys, bro. They've been on the kool-aid longer than you or me and they are better men for having put this nasty worm dirt behind them. Post roll each day and just concern yourself with not dipping that one day. Wake up the next day and repeat. Simple process.

It can be a real bitch sometimes, but take it ODAAT and you're gonna whip this thing once and for all. Do it for YOU so you aren't the guy laying on your death bed dying from cancer with "one last dip" because you wouldn't sac up and quit.

Never again, not for any reason. PM if you need anything.

Today I choose to quit because today is the only day I have control over today. Tomorrow is a new day and when tomorrow is today, I'll control it too, but not until then. I will win this fight with today...

The poison sucks. I hate it. I hated it this morning, I hated it at noon, I hated it at supper and I hate it tonight. I enjoy hating it so much I'm going to wake up tomorrow and start over hating it. I quit with anyone that wants to hate it with me.

Well not only is it $5 a day to shorten my life..but i was just thinking of why I still do it, why am I spending money on this? Girls think it's gross, it puts off a bad image and it's just unsanitary. Not quitting for the girl, she's just the cherry on top. I used to never chew at work when I worked at thererestaurant. But the shop is much different. I bought a big bag of sun flower seeds and lifesavers so I'm feeling confident.

I've been dipping for about four years. I was going through a tin every three or four days, but for the past two years I've worked in a shop as an auto technican. I go through about a tin a day, skoal peach. Through college I met this great girl, I wanna be open and honest with her, I don't know how she would feel if she knew I chewed. That conversation never came up yet, but if it comes up I wanna be able to tell her I've completely stopped. Thanks to anyone for potential support.
Henry you are most welcome here if you REALLY want to quit. If you are quitting for anyone but yourself your chances of success are for shit. I tried quitting for my wife and 2 kids for 15 years. No dice. Now I am quitting for me because I refuse to be a slave any longer. Do you find it curious you went from one tin every 3-4 days to packing your lip with a can of death per day? Now is the time or you will be 49, packing 2 cans a day and not having a non sore part of your mouth to put that poison in ( like me). You, me, and everyone here are addicts. Read and learn about our addiction. Kill this bitch while you are young. FOR YOU!
