Support can’t happen from a distance... you need to be here in order to take advantage of it.

What’s it gonna be, dude?

Well, it’s one louder, isn’t it? It’s not ten.

“Its a nasty habit...”
Not feeling a lot of resolve in your post, bro.

If you come back all fired up and ready to own this... and I really hope you do... a change in your mindset needs to take place.

KTC is not a place geared towards breaking a “habit”.
Nicotine is an addictive drug.
You are addicted to it.
You are and addict.

No more on/off again stopping.
Quit. Get involved here and... stay involved.

Own it, man.
Well, it’s one louder, isn’t it? It’s not ten.

You got it right...quiting ain’t easy.   It’s a bitch.   Day after day you will be fighting the addict in you who will tell you lie after lie about why you should put a dip in your mouth.   Fighting that off is exhausting.  But believe me, it will not get easier tomorrow, next week or next year, so dig your heals in and prepare for the fight.   That’s where KTC comes in.   You make a promise on this site everyday that you are going to quit for one day....and with that promise you have added thousands of people at your back.   People who have been exactly where you are....thinking you’ll never be able to fight this forever....and maybe more importantly, people who will care if keep your promise...real accountability for a real fight.   We did it...so can you.   Good luck.

Great decision RM.... this is the first day of your new life.

You can find your July group Here

Post your promise on roll call to not use any form of nicotine today.

Keep your promise.

Go to bed.

Wake up.

Piss.

Post your promise again to not use any form of nicotine.

Keep your word.

It truly is that simple but one of the hardest things you will ever do.  Exchange digits with your fellow brothers and build some brotherhood.  You will rely on them during the toughest of times.

Drink lots of water and jump into all of the site.  You can do this.
Be humble... grow everyday.

I fear I will always be chasing the vortex like a drug. None will be as special as my first hit.

Looking forward to moving forward...

I've come back and forth to this site for quite some time now but never had the real intention of quitting.  Been dipping a can every few days or so for the past 5 years.  Was able to quit for a week or 2 here and there, but always would use a trigger as a excuse.  Tried pouches, snus, etc but would go back to the Cope.   Finally this is it...I'm tired of finding old empty chew cans around in places where I've hid them, bottles of spit that I also left somewhere, and most of all hiding it in general.  Its a nasty habit...I look forward to having a clean car too, and not finding bits of chew on the carpet.
I'll need support because I know its no easy thing...but I look forward to moving forward and leading on with things that are way way healthier.
