Ok, I don't want to scare you away. Getting past 90 days on your own is pretty bad -ass. You're probably thinking you may not need to go to extreme measures like getting involved with a bunch of strangers on the internet and holding yourself accountable. All the more power to you if you can keep it up without an extra kick in the ass. I know I hated the idea...at first, but I was eventually humbled by my addiction.

If you don't want to join up with a group, that's cool. You don't have to make up any stories for not doing so. Just know that  if your addiction throws a sucker punch, there will be people willing to bend over backwards to help you stay quit. But you have to be willing. You aren't there yet.

Honestly the reason for the silence since my original post is I cant figure out how to join the group and "post roll" Feel like my dad when he got his first smart phone!

Any help would be appreciated!
Yeah, I smell a bunch of bullshit. You figured out how to post here....people gave you links to your home group...and you can't figure out how to post roll call? Did your father have any children that lived?

hey guys, sorry about the silence. Day 90 today! Didnt cave, in case you're worried about that! Its funny, even though I have cravings still (some times bad, some times not so much but still noticeable) I dont have a desire to put a chew in my mouth.  I dont have a desire to buy a tin when I'm at the gas station register etc.

Hey brother—check your inbox...I’m sending digits...I’ll help you through it. You are in my group too. It’s been said already, but there is no reason for you to go through this without support. That’s what we are all here for, to get and give support. Feel free to reach out any time.

I didn’t see you posted on role yesterday.  Let me know if you are having problems posting.  I think the link I sent should put you to the May 2019 group.

Stay quit brother.

Welcome to KTH!

I too was able to quit with the help of a hypnotherapist. It worked for 9 months. Then I ran into issues due to family deaths and I allowed myself to cave.

It took 16 years to get the will to quit again and finally quit at the ripe age of 59 after 40 years of dipping.

You are well on your way. Just stay vigilant.

You have to be ready to get the craves around key milestone dates. That is right - those days when you think you have this thing totally kicked and then you get those inner reminders.

Be on guard, stay strong.

I quit with you today.

Come over to the May 19 group.  It is HOF month and we'd love to have you join up.  We post roll every morning, and that's kind of the key.  Sounds like you have been following along on here so WUPP (wake up piss post) should be familiar.

My story is so very similar to yours.  Started around 14-15 and I used for 25 years with a few random "stoppages".  Get in and get some digits, sounds weird at first but it will help.  And it will take your stoppage up to a full blown quit.  Send me a PM and I'll respond with my digits if you are interested.

Agree with everyone - Notsure - go over to May19 and post roll.  Now. today.  I joined on day 30 here.  I have a brother in Oct16 that joined after day 100.  I can't imagine my quit without him.  Day 83 is GREAT QUITTAGE but if you are like many of us (the majority of us) you will have some rough patches and funks ahead - go over, post roll, join the brother/sisterhood!!
Just one and you will be back to where you started, and where you started was desperately wishing you were where you are now.

Awesome post!  I'm sure the May 2019 quit group would welcome you and celebrate 100 days with you.  I happen to be tight with one of the conductors for that group.   8)

Quitting with a team is WAY better than quitting by yourself.  It only takes a minute to make a promise each morning.  Why not make that promise every day?  I know it has kept me quit.
