@Bigdiesel90 how did you manage to quit caffeine?

I did for about the first 125 ish days.. now you could say I have went back.. but when I say I’ve went back I only consume about 1 8oz cup of coffee a day no more than that. No soda, no tea, and nothing after 2pm ever. The last energy drink I had was the one I wrote about in my hof speech.. as far as how I did it !? Just like dip odaat

What’s up everyone figured I’d check back in since it’s been a 10 days since my last post. After I hit around 280 ish something really let off of the gas. I am feeling so much better now. Do I feel great everyday all day long? Hell no but I feel 1% better than I did the day before.  I guess the guys that talk about paws are right, this stuff just comes and goes. Funny story a little over a week ago I went golfing with some buddies. First time I’ve been golfing since very early on in the quit. I was actually enjoying playing without dip. So that’s a victory I’ll take that W and keep marching odaat. Not to mention my buddy who I was riding with had a big fatty in most of the round. I kicked its ass. I think the biggest thing with all this Clovid bullshit going on we have to stay close to the people on the site. These will be some stressful times, but hey if we can beat this shit without a cat turd in our lip we are all the better for it. Kick this weeks as.

Man oh man what a fucking journey it’s been. Today marks 279 days of freedom from nicotine. Along with that freedom I’ve literally walked thru my version of a living hell. 200+ has not been easy by any stretch of the imagination and I just wanna climb to the top of mountain and yell “fuck you nicotine” at the absolute top of my lungs.. some days I just feel like a damn alien.
You know that foggy brain fuck you feeling. I will say I feel better at 279 than I did at 260 or even 200.  :o I am here odaat bc after all what else can I do but besides be here odaat. I’m hoping tomorrow is better than today and today was sure better than yesterday. Last week was the most stressed I’ve been since quitting dip rage and Piss and vinegar.. I’m just so glad to almost be to a year

PTBQWY, Bigdiesel90! 280 for you today! You're a fucking rock star, dude, and I'm glad you've been such a great Quit Mentor and friend these 21 days of mine. One of our battle cries at Georgia Southern is GATA (Get After That Ass). That's what you've been doing for 280 and I've been doing for 21. We're each gonna GATA one more day - today - so let's do it! - GS9502
@Bigdiesel90 the 200's for me were worse than the first 100 days by far. I remember them well. :o

Major milestones (like a year) are exciting! But during rough patches like the roaring 200's, focus ODAAT. Celebrate each day as a significant victory and let the milestone days come to you. You got this my friend; maybe get a few more digits of people 300+ that can help you and relate to what you are experiencing at this stage of your quit. Mine are always available if you want; just send me a PM.
Big D! (and I don't mean Dallas...)  You got this man.  You don't even realize how much better you are than those first few weeks.  Look forward and keep pushing.
Just one is right back to where you were and where you were was desperately wishing you were where you are now.- Via Flip

Hey man welcome!  You're intro hits close to home for me as well.  I did almost the same thing as you.  I cut out dip, alcohol and energy drinks at the same time.  I still have 1 cup of coffee in the morning, but that's it.  Sleep was awful for a few weeks, but i'm in a better place now and sleeping great.

For me, quitting alcohol was never permanent.  However, i needed it out because lowered inhibitions means caving for me.  I had 2 beers at a neighborhood party around day 20.  It was nice, but i also put myself in a situation not to fail.  Included my wife; no access to dip, etc.  I would be very cautious if and when you go back to drinking.  Make sure you are strong in your quit before diving back in.

Welcome to the tips, my number is available if you need/want it.

Diesel, love to see that you posted roll...it won’t feel like it to start, but that has been the foundation of many of our quits.  After six years if I don’t post every morning, I will get texts asking me what’s going on.   That accountability is something I’ve never had before, and it tells me that people, who know what being a nicotine addict is like, are counting on me to make my promise and stay quit.   Good luck diesel, what you are going through now is the worst...make this the last time you feel this way...it gets better, way better.

Welcome to KTC nice job making the decision to quit. Make sure to make it over to September 19 to post roll https://ktcforum.org/index.php?topic=14277.0 share how your feeling and what you're going through. Your group is going through the same and there are several of us that have been through it.

« on: June 24, 2019, 03:17:38 PM »
Hey guys I’m brand new here. 11 days ago I was tired and fed up with being anxious and feeling like crap. It was giving me the worst anxiety I have ever dealt with in my entire life, it was scary I hated it and I wanted out. I didn’t know what it was so I cut 3 things out of my life. 1) dip 2) caffeine 3) alcohol. I have been dipping for 13 years straight. That’s everyday. So right about now I feel like a can a trash. Just wanted to say hi to everyone and I’m looking forward to this new step in my life
