QBcoach03,
We are newbie quit brothers and in this together. I hope you are well. It has been a real eye opener so far, new and different sensations along with the realization of how deep I was in. The fuzz, can't concentrate, edgy ready to blow among other things tells me the chew was keeping me a long ways from where I should be functioning. Looking forward to the days ahead as the new "normal" begins to show up.
One day at a time.

My name is Gideon Gragg.... I quit yesterday after around 23 years. I don’t know how to post roll. Also I can’t concentrate on anything and my hand eye coordination is not good... is that normal with quitting??

Hey Gideon, welcome.  You’re in the right place.  Completely normal to have these and other side effects of quitting right now.  Your body and mind are learning to operate without nicotine.

Head over to March 2020 Pre-HOF - https://ktcforum.org/index.php?topic=16102.0

Scroll down to the second post (after the instructional post), hit quote in the top right corner and write your user name and day number where I’ve pointed you to(so since you quit yesterday you’d be at day 2).  Then tomorrow morning when you wake up, post there again for day 3.  I’m sending you a private message with my phone number in case you need any help with that or to talk through your quit.  Glad to have you here and proud to quit with you today!

Andy

Gideon today is the day -- Go to the link above and POST ROLL!!  That is the price of admission here for a great site full of super supportive quitters who want to see you stay QUIT.

The first step starts with you - Post Roll first thing in the morning every damn day.  I already posted on the March site with my support for you -- as well as over a dozen other vets -- so it's YOUR turn to do it.

Welcome Qb - not being able to concentrate is definitely normal in the early phase of quitting. Not everyone is the same, but mine seemed to come back after a couple of weeks. The body is trying to purge those nasty chemicals you've been stuffing in your mouth years. Congrats on the quit, keep it up and get post on the March '20 roll.

Andy pretty well covered the basics,  you should have a PM from me as well.  You will pickup the acronyms as you go but let me introduce to one, PTBQWY. It means Proud To Be Quit With You.  You have taken that hard step and I am proud to be here, behind, beside, whatever you and supporting your quit. Get on roll first thing in the morning and the rest will come.
Quit.      Nov 22 2018
HOF.      Mar 1 2019

My number is always available, just PM me. I am up all night many nights,  just call me. My quit is strong because of KTC, just make sure yours is too.

Accountability + Brotherhood = Success

I am a retread. You can have a second chance like me just own up to your past. I flushed 2 laps down the drain once because I want involved.  Not again.  Get involved,  get quit.
