Sick of being scared what could show up in my mouth.

Sick of being embarrassed when my dentist gives me the talking to every six months about how I really should quit.

Nothing is going to show up in your mouth other then benign lesions, receding gum lines, and possible tooth loss. But your teeth are more likely to fall out from eating junk food and candy then dip. This is on the same level of having that ever present ring in your back pocket. Its a sign of usage. Its not gonna fucking kill you. Time to man up a little and stop being scared of all the propaganda. Smokers have a much worse mortality rate then dippers. Overweight neckbeards (many of the users here) have a much worse mortality rate then dippers. Pick up any kind of actual officially medically certified and approved pamphlets on dip and the risks involved, and you will see that your chances of developing cancer are much much MUCH lower then getting hit by lightning.

Or you can sell part of your soul and drink the kool-aid the KTC cult offers. Your choice.

Sorry About the dumbass Farmeboy.

Sometimes it's just plain easier to make ridiculous excuses to continue on with a bad habit (addiction) you know is BAD for you. I feel sorry for @DirtRoad89 but damn you get called out one time and go full drama queen bitch on the whole forum. Take a moment to really consider what you want. You want to keep shoveling cat shit in your mouth and be in denial of what side effects it has? Be my guest. But don't go spewing bullshit against people trying to make an honest quit for themselves.
You are in control of your own decisions. Act like it.

Damn didn't mean to get something started and I'm not really one to argue with someone over the internet. All I can say is, In my opinion, and that's all it is is my opinion. Manning up is taking steps to be healthier and be around for your family. Anyway, gotta say I'm glad to be able to say that I'm nicotine free for day number 6.
DirtRoad89 is a troll. Don't let his bullshit distract you from your quit. There will always be distractions and nay sayers. Keep your eyes forward and focus ODAAT.
No worries I'm not dissuaded in the least by it. I figured he's a troll, possibly someone unable to quit and couldn't take being held accountable? Definitely someone with more free time than I have lol. Appreciate all the support from the rest of you!
@Farmboy86 good to hear. Reach out for support.

You did nothing wrong farmboy, this guy dirtroad has been here before under a different name and I'm sure has other multiple accounts, so I'm sure this isn't the last we will see of someone of his ilk. Big tobacco is very afraid of the amount of folks leaving them to live a life without them in it. That's a lot of money out of their pockets and that scares them. So they go around touting how tobacco/ nicotine doesn't kill you and that we here at KTC are making this shit up. So a group of quitters on a FREE website looking to gain nothing except to live nic free for the rest of our lives and to help others achieve that dream as well are the crazy cultists.....sounds legit right?  roflmao So anyway, keep racking up them days and I will see you on roll in the morning. Thank you guys for the warm welcome. I have to say I was nervous after reading about the symptoms from quitting but it's worth it. I compare it to when you work out and get the muscle aches, you know you are getting results. Now that I'm here I really want to kick myself for not doing this a long time ago. Keep up the good fight and have a good day!
Quitting is tough but damn is it worth it. Even if the cancer risk was zero it’s worth quitting for the reprieve from addiction and it’s behaviors that you can get. One day at a time is something we all can do and I’m glad to quit w you today

Hey brother, proud to have ya here with us. Sometimes we wake up and it just clicks, just like you said, and other times we need it slapped upside our head a few times. Either way, you're here now and that's what matters. Dig in, gather up digits to build your wall of accountability, and put in as much as you want to get out. My digits are only a PM away if ya want em.

Those symptoms are the price of freedom and freedom as to be earned. So, yeah the symptoms suck, but in a good way.
