No A/C in my truck either, of course it's a 1965 GMC, 2 air vents in the floor, roll both windows down, turn the wing-windows in and it's like an air tunnel, then you're good to go. :wacko:

on a completely unrelated note, is anyone interested in a 200 ford explorer with 92k miles on it?  :wacko:

Not bad mileage for an 1,800-year old vehicle.

have you upgraded the suspension or are you still rolling on stone wheels?

Anyone interested in a 1999 Maxima with 174,000 and WD stains throughout?

Long as we're selling vehicles, I got a 1999 Silverado with 285 thousand miles, new transmission, never had a tune up, still gets 20 mpg.

just an update - truck has no compression in the #2 cylinder - this means essentially i need a new engine.

fuck.

guess ol chewie's plans for waiting until the new year to get a new truck have been moved up a tad.  throw in the broken air/heat unit, the remodeled bathroom and i'm just rolling in cash these days!

Car problems suck ass. I don't care how great life's going, just when you think it can't get any better, something will go wrong with your ride. Left work a couple of weeks ago, and the driver's side window on my Jeep just fell down into the door. WTF?? It's not like I slam the door or anything, or abused the power window. After a pain in the ass trip to the dealership, they failed to hook up the power mirror (which is now pointing down at the ground) and I have to go again. I guess I should be glad it's not a new engine. Feel for you, Chewie.

thanks man - got a ride to work with a co-worker this AM cause i don't want to drive my truck... it'll go, but it's SUPER rough. i'm just hoping that i can get it to a dealer to trade without the "check engine" light coming on...

good morning... er... afternoon quitters!  i've been at the mechanic's all morning.  i'm $550 into repairs on my truck and still don't know if it's fixed.  a year ago, this would have sent me into a chewing frenzy like never before.  i would have been through at least a can already this AM.  today... no chance!!!  it's a GREAT day to be dip free!

start painting that bengal B on stuff in your garage and selling it on ebay. you know, not everyone in the natti fires on all cylinders. maybe you should paint the truck orange and black and weld your grill on the back. tailgating machine! prolly get more than you paid for it on ebay.
