Once again, I cannot thank this site enough for what it provides.

Today, I hit 879 days.
Today, my wife hit her half comma.

How's 1379 days quit sound to you?

Accountability. Friendship. Not giving in but giving a call and asking for permission to quit.

KTC fucking rocks.

Quit on.

I've been Copenhagen free for twelve hours now. First time in 20 years. Can't sleep. Scotch is taking edge off. Went through entire bag of ranch sunflower seeds. Mouth feels like I went down on Hillary Clinton with a yeast infection. Would rather be locked in port-a-potty and lit on fire listening to rap music.
Yep. You're pretty much on the right track! It sucks, but remember this so you never go back. Pm me if i can help.

Caught my 16 yr old dipping. Others on bsb team had started. Had LONG heart to heart talk with him about how he did not want to fight this addiction. He promised he would stop. Feel like it is my fault. Day 299 is today. I don't want him ever keeping a count.
Man that is tough, one of my many driving factors is my son who is 6 months old to not have to see that. I wish my old man had tanned my hide when he first caught me. Its a tough spot at 16 you are invincible, cancer and all that has no impact on how you live your life. Hopefully you got through to him. Maybe him seeing your struggle will be the push he needs to stay away.

Best of luck

Deepest respect and honor those who fought and died in defense of our freedom. There are those who have served and are serving and have a friend in service. I have gotten quite a few texts, and it seems the effect of this banner hit its mark. I am veey grateful to those who have served....this ones for you!

I have been chewing since I was 19, I am now 21.  I started on long cut and thought hey maybe if I went to pouches it would be easier to quit.  I started off with only one and now I am up to two pouches per did. I was wondering what would be the best route to take.  I have 6 pouches left in my last can.  Should I try and cut back with those remaining 6 or just throw them away?

Also what are some good substitutes?  Sunflower seeds help for a while but I get burned out on them for a while and I don't like the feeling of hard candies.  Is there another substitute I can make?

Also on the day I decide to quit where can I locate the quitter page where my help community would be?  I saw the one for April and not one for May.  Thanks for any replies I will receive I look forward to dropping this disgusting habit I have acquired.
Dump your shit NOW if you don't you will keep postponing your quit. I know because I pushed my quit date a can at a time till 40 years passed. Fake dip helps some quitters, I used smokey Mountian for several months and then gradually got bored with it and didn't need it any more.
You can say tomorrw till the day you die. The only way to quit and change anything is to say TODAY!!!
Yes, dump it now. You will be posting in the August 2013 pre hof group. The groups are designed around when you will make it to 100 days quit, which is one of the first milestone in a lifelong quit.
