Everyone here just wants you to quit. That is what is most important here!
After you have quit and joined our ranks, the next guy will come through and say; he is not ready, I will quit on my birthday, after this can...
I look forward to your response to that newbie. Quit with us and don't wait.
Not sure wtf kind of response you're anticipating but, how the hell do you post roll
? I clicked on this and that but I can't make heads or tails of that shit. Someone wanna help me out with that? I haven't chewed in over 20 hours and having some major withdrawals. I don't remember this feeling at all from the last time I quit. I wake up every half-hour and it's like my mouth is screaming for something that aint there. Mouth is kinda sore too, along with my throat. Then, I fall back asleep for another half-hour and it's the same thing again. Very very strange.

Anyhow, I'm not waiting anymore......I'm just in need of some assistance in posting roll. I've gone to live chat a dozen times but, no one ever is in there to help either. 'help'

And I will NOT post roll, until I have completely quit. I can honestly say that I haven't had a chew of tobacco since 6 AM this morning and I don't plan on anymore for the rest of the day either but, I aint posting roll, till I know for certain that I am quitting.
This is crap.

You know how you know "for certain" that you've quit!?

You man up, MAKE that decision, and own it. Period.

You're pre-waffling to conditions that haven't even presented themselves yet. You're leaving the door open to cave... Stop! You'll NEVER meet all the perfect conditions your brilliant addict brain can come up with.

Right. Now.

That's the perfect everything you need to know.
Right.
Now.
Well, it’s one louder, isn’t it? It’s not ten.

I understand what you all are saying..... I've been chewing more than forty yrs. myself. I have also quit a few times in my life and after 6 months or so, of nawing on hard candies and gum and whatever else I could get into my mouth, and feeling sick from all the damn garbage I ate, I would eventually cave in and go back to chewing. That's NOT the plan this time. I am quitting for good and in order to do that, I am getting a game plan going. I will have some sort of tobacco substitute for backup, BEFORE I quit. PERIOD! Call it whatever you want. Call me a sissy, what the fuckever.

And I will NOT post roll, until I have completely quit. I can honestly say that I haven't had a chew of tobacco since 6 AM this morning and I don't plan on anymore for the rest of the day either but, I aint posting roll, till I know for certain that I am quitting. Like it or Lump it. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
1. You never quit before, you just took a break
2. You are not a special butterfly, we are all scared and nervous about quitting our addiction of 15, 20, 30, 40 years
3. Why quit today when you can quit tomorrow?

It's not a contest of who has dipped the longest. I was rocking a nice 20 year habit before I found this site. If you've been dipping for 40 years, you sure as hell know everything you've tried to do in the past doesn't work. Perhaps it's possible some of the people on this site know more about quitting than you do? I know my longest quit before I found this site was about 3 days. I tried planning, and setting dates, and all that other shit. None of it worked. What has worked for me is posting roll every day, and promising my friends on this site that I won't succumb to the Nic Bitch today.

You'll find this to be the most welcoming, friendly community of people anywhere (I have), but no one has any sympathy for doing it any other way than cold turkey, right now.

Hello to all. I am new here today but want to ask if anyone has a recipe for home made herbal chew. I just quit tobacco today and definitely need some herbal chew to get me through this. I am chewing smokey mountain straight and trying the classic as well but, classic seems to burn my gums. There's got to be some people out there, making their own and I would love to hear some suggestions from them. Not sure exactly where to post this question but, am trying it here.

Will I be able to follow this post periodically? Help me out here moderators 'help'

Some of the guys in my group, Oct 14 made some homemade stuff. I will get someone to reach out to you.
Sounds good rainfire and thanks!
Hey man. Looks like you're all hooked up, but I noticed that you haven't mentioned anything about posting roll. That's really what this site is about.

Quitting sucks initially, and we have each other's backs in this. We got yours too if you decide to walk with us.
I already have decided to "walk with you" but, I have not completely quit yet. I "cheated" a couple of times , like this morning. I totally intend to completely quit but, not until I have an herbal chew for a crutch. I thought I had that but, the stuff I'm using is not working out because it is burning my gums. Once I have completely quit, I WILL post roll. I just do not intend to lie and cheat, because that would only defeat the purpose. Am I right? Thanks for all your support in this....I must also admit that I'm not 100% accustomed to your site and how it all works yet either. All I know for sure right now, is that I do intend to quit tobacco 100% and real soon, and that I also intend to post roll, once I do. All comments and suggestions are very much welcomed by me too! 'bang head'
Not to beat a dead horse, but I have to echo what others are saying here. I'm still fairly new in my quit (56 days strong, though!), and if there's one thing that never worked for me it was playing the "I'll quit when..." game. There is no such thing as a better time to quit than right fucking now. I know because I tried all the different tricks for YEARS, along with so many other guys on this site. It is all horse shit. Sack up, dump that crap down the shitter where it belongs, post roll and start quitting. Now.

"Intend" all you want somewhere else... That's not how we do it here.

Bro... Every tomorrow breeds another tomorrow. As a nicotine addict you can't afford that mind set. Be truly badass and jump in right now. Cold turkey... Right now. You'll have all the support you'll ever need right here. Stop being owned and quit now...
If your serious, here is my advise. Dump all of your chew, and post roll NOW! If you don't you likely won't quit. Why do I say that? I did it for 40 years. You can't bullshit any of us we know all of the moves that lead to continued failure. Don't delay that next dip may be the one that starts the cancerous growth.
You have herbal chew smokey mt, but the nicotine in chewing tobacco is convincing you it is not close enough to the 'real' thing.
There is nothing 100% the same, but finding something close and use it to get you over a crave.
And I bet the burn of the fake chew is better than smelling the radiation burn the cancer out of your mouth.
http://m.espn.go.com/wireless/story?storyId=11754095

For years the nicotine in chew convinced me, quit after this last chew, or after this last can, or... there is always an excuse.
Everyone on this site wishes they would have quit earlier but there is nothing better than right now!
