Just dropping in here to say congrats on a year of quit life.

I too, struggle with the milestones, they are not really a celebration so much as a reminder of the length of time that it has been and when you break away from the ODAAT way of thinking.... you can get frustrated. Frustrated that you are not "cured".

It keeps getting better, even incrementally so. There is no better way to live than nicotine free, and you know it.

So yeah, 1 year today. Why have I been in such a pissy mood all damn day?
Really no answers to that
No fake the last 2 days, could be it, but thats not addictive, right?
Maybe its all in my head
Or maybe it was having one too may homebrews last night (3.5 when the keg blew)
The best part of the day has been all the texts, posts and messages congratulating me on not poisoning myself for 365 days
That has been wonderful, thank you all for the congratulations, sorry to sound like a whiner, just trying to figure it out
I'll be back tomorrow to make my promise again with all of you

350 days/ 50 weeks. Nothing much new to add to the last couple weeks. We did take a vacation up to the UP of Michigan. A lot of driving, which was always a huge trigger. Had some Jake's Mint pouches along for the ride and never craved nicotine the whole time. Getting closer to the ABQ hitting the 1 year mark. One year will be nice, but I have done that before on my own, without KTC, so the 2 year, 3 year, and comma marks will be more significant to me. The only way to get there though is to continue WUPPing ODAATEDD, so thats the plan

336/48 weeks of quitting with y'all. Damn it feels good. Spent some time this afternoon looking at old posts, MIQ ABQs, Fury SSOA among other things. Some scary stats in those pages. Also found some things I may not be too proud of. I know that during the course of time, I pissed off some of the ABQ and they left the fold soon after. I just wanted to give them what they came here for, accountability. Was it harsh? Probably. Was it necessary? Definitely. Read through Wastepanels' list of what he has learned here on KTC. His line about knowing the difference between hard truths and being an asshole insults really struck home. I hope in the past, and even today in January that I am only as big of an asshole as is needed to get the job done. I don't want to lose anymore of the ABQ, I want to quit with them and the rest of the Fury for a long time to come, bar none. I don't want to be one of those who drift away and disappear. I know what this site has done for me and I would like it to keep doing those things for me. No real point to this post, just another note really for myself if I ever need help keeping my priorities straight.

322/46 weeks! Everyday does seem to get better. The vets were right. Then I get the news this morning that one of my early supporters died on Friday. RIP Air Force Addict, you will be sorely missed. Makes me really want to focus in on traveling and meeting some of the people who have influenced or supported me so much for the last 322 days. We like traveling, and do a lot of it. I will be trying harder to make connections with the quitters in my life as we travel. Any and all who make it near Cincinnati should reach out to me for a meet up and I will be reaching out as we travel. Thank you again Randall for all the inspiration and advice, I can never repay you but I can work on paying it forward.

Congratulations all of you ABQ's as you exit the elevator on the third floor! At this point we all should be disciplined enough to come here and post roll every day, if for no other reason than simple respect to the rest of us who have made it this far.

Just remember...the HOF and the third floor are not the finish line, but they are important milestones and should be celebrated! And if I know November, even after 300 days, they will definitely Jack you up for caving.
