CD, way awesome quit you got going on! Let me tell you a little secret, the early days of a quit are the hardest fight. I am at day 688 today and I am ready to QLF all day every day, but I haven't had to fight for well over a year now. My quit is easy EDD, but I remember how hard it was to get through day 1, two weeks, HOF, etc.. So feel free to post on any group, you are worthy so long as you are nic free and posting roll. Thank God for the fact that the new quitters have to be way more bad assed than the vets. Keep quitting minute to minute until you are free.
Thanks B-loMatt... I am 22 days today...

It does get easier each day, to a point. Can't wait to have less and less "want" times, although, I have very few at this point.
Just North of Three weeks, well done Chick. You are in the midst of leaving a legacy your family will never forget. It will be something no one can take or steal from you!
Nothing better than someone standing with friends and doing what they say they will do. Integrity rocks.
Respect your start and involvement here.
I quit with you today.
Fight on!
I believe.....

Hey Chick. Welcome. Congrats on a strong quit thus far.

Posting roll is your "must do" every day. It's going to keep you quit more than anything else you can do. When life creeps in and things get tough, you always have "I already posted roll and gave my word for today" to keep you quit. I see you are doing the number two suggested action for a strong quit - remaining active. Get on the site and read. Know your addiction. Get on and help others. Build your own quit strength by making yourself accountable to others. Get numbers but more importantly....use them. Just adding them to your phone will do nothing. Use them. Finally, log your quit. Keeping a record of your hard times. Doing so will help you to never want to come back to these days. You won't have to do today over ever again as long as you keep your promise for today. Log your triumphs as well. This will help to keep pushing you and keep fueling your quit. It's hard. You truly need to celebrate milestones!

Something that stuck out to me in your thread was you stating that you didn't feel worthy to post in some quit groups. Is it because of the numbers aka Quit Days that follow the name? I am here to tell you that you ARE worthy. Any one person that is quit is worthy. We were all day one at one time. Your word for today is good anywhere on this forum. Worthy? Being quit and fighting with me today is all that is required. I welcome your support in April 14. You are WORTHY!

Don't get caught up on the numbers/quit days. One number is not any more or less important than any other. Each day is a battle. Each day is a victory. Each day is freedom. It is good to have goals and want to reach milestones. However, you cannot get there if you cannot do "today". Understand? Use people's quit days as motivation. Celebrate with them. Learn from them. Post with them. Each day is important.

I'm gonna be here quitting like a girl too so if you need anything just let me know. You are doing a fine job little sis. I'm pretty proud to see you crushing this!

Lady G - day 469
That is awesome! Thanks, and yes, when I said "not worthy" that is exactly what I meant.
Thankful for the ones who told me to go ahead and do it!
I have been getting much support from many on here and it has helped. The main reason I am feeling like that this is it, my quit and I am being successful daily.

I will be proud to be quit with you my sista.

Hey Chick Dip I see you actively posting support for others. Good for you. Lots of newer quitters shy away from that because they ae so uncertain of their own quit, offering advice to others seems pointless, but believe me when I tell you that support will help you as much as others. Talking the talk, helps you walk the walk. Quit with you today.
Thanks Dagranger!

Although some quit groups I do NOT feel WORTHY to enter! :-)

Each day something better happens for me. Looking forward to many more where I can look back and be proud quitter with y'all.
You have the right attitude. Stay strong until you go to sleep. Wake up, do it again.
THx Done4, I couldn't even think of doing this without all the support on here. Tons of good advice and motivation.
You absolutely can do this! The further you get away from day one the faster you can process thoughts emotions complex thinking critical thinking when you don't have the poison cursing through your veins. Remember we quit only once! Push past all the pain and fog. Embrace the suck it is your bodies way of ridding itself of the poison. Need anything PM me
