Hey everyone, and especially the June Goons. Just wanted to check back in before everyone heads out to get stuffed on Turkey Day and let you all know IÂ’m still good on my quitÂ….Day 271 to be exact, and no Nic. Even though I left KTC to continue my Quit solo, I wanted to come back and say thanks to all of you for instilling in me that each day is another day to Quit, 24 hours to give my word, at the beginning of every day, which usually starts at 3:30 am Eastern time!! I still keep track each and every day, and each and every day I give my word not to put that cancer turd in my lip. I wanted to give a big shout out and thanks to Dano  Talonad for walking me off the ledge in one of my “not so bright” moments in my life. Hopefully everyone in the Goon squad is doing well and continuing to kick Nicci to the curb.

I still come in as a visitor and read when I get craves, which I still have off and on to some degree, and am sure that will continue for quite awhile, but I guess when you used for almost 30 years it will take time to recover. Well, to wrap things up, since I havenÂ’t been posting with June since 4/27/15, I didnÂ’t feel I should post in their roll, so my Intro is where I will check in from time to time. Everyone, especially the newer Quitters, make sure you have a game plan for the Holidays. For any of you that still have my digits, if you ever need to use them they are there for you if it will keep you from walking off the ledge. I hope everyone has a very Happy ThanksgivingÂ….another day quit is a day to be thankful for!! TBow
If you aren't willing to post roll daily, why are you taking up space and bandwidth here? You are sending a poor message, especially to new quitters............
Do you know why I left? Do you know the circumstances involved? If not then maybe you should go back thru the posts for June and read. While in there, why don't you take a look at my roll post % as well as ask how much I was involved with the June Goons until I left? For you to make a comment such as the one you made without having any background info is pretty lame. This site is about helping people Quit tobacco, and since I am Quit, and have been Quit since 2/26/15, I think I have every right to post into my own intro thread. This is why I did not post into the June roll as I have not been posting roll with them, and as such was not in a position to post anything there. If I am incorrect please have one of the admins let me know.
Todd I hope you asked the wife if you could post. I don't really understand the difference between coming and reading when you crave and taking 2 minutes to post roll every morning.
Hmmm^^^ Good point, get your ass back in here or post updates on Facebook, you know how this shit works, send your buds postcards are get your ass back! I'm pretty sure the goons have you back but I would damn sure wants some reasons, hell post and ghost is better than a shoutout to your buds ever 30 days or so. Hope I pissed you off, because usually makes a man think about shit!
BUMP

And fuck that guy. 'Finger'

The most fucked up thing is he won't post in June but he'll shit all over the intro page. Dude when you read this either post up on roll every damn day or don't post at all. No one gives a shit about how many days quit you are. I don't believe you and I bet June doesn't believe your ass either. Grow a pair of nuts. Tell that wife of yours that she's crazy that she won't support you quitting for a great cause.
3 Don?t be selfish; don't try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. 4 Don't look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. Philippians 2:3-8

"A few things I have learned through business and sport..
1. If you are not being attacked you aren't WINNING
2. If you are not being criticized you aren't doing enough RIGHT
3. The easiest way to attack success is try to pull you down to their level.." - Todd Tryon

You were the first quitter I spoke with on the phone, kind of a cherry poppin' thing. I would wish you luck on your own, but we both know this isn't about luck. Vaya con Dios hermano.
Look no further....I still got your cherry brother!!! Just kind of lost the way for a bit, but as you know, things are gonna change. I got this!!! 'winker'

TBow you are so right there are some very ignorant people out there (in the world and on KTC). Sometimes quitters who are fighting this fight slip up in their weakness or lack of commitment. When this happens some of those brothers and sisters in the fight strike out in a way that helps them others just enjoy being asses. In three years I've seen a lot of it, been involved and fought back against it. I've seen the disenfranchised leave only to fail and return cavers. Take what you need and leave the rest! The best advice you can learn. At this point in my quit I still do just that and it still works for me. I wish you the best in your daily battles.
Damn good advice my friend! Thanks help my quit stronger! And yes some guy's think it makes there balls bigger when actually they sound like jr.high schoolers

I'm finding more and more every day that there are some in KTC who are nothing but adult bullies looking at this as an excuse to launch personal attacks on other members. Some are genuinely concerned and limit speech to"fire up" someone, or an entire group. Others come to do nothing but incite members, antagonize, etc. Those are the members I have no use for. I have and will continue to stand up for people that are either too weak, too scared, or too ashamed to stand up for themselves and I see even as adults there are some that have nothing better to do than bully. There is nothing wrong with firing up the masses as long as it doesn't involve personal attacks on other members. You want to bully, then there shouldn't be a place for you here on KTC. This is a place for brotherhood, support, advice, learning and quitting, not trying to belittle someone with personal attacks like you are back in high school. Shit gets old...

Tbow...Congrats on getting to where your at right now...24 days is solid as fuck....i know exactly where your coming from...i dipped for 29 years...quit cold turkey on 16Dec2014 and I posted up a day 97 today

Just a word of caution...your getting close to what i referred to as the Hot Mess stage of your quit....between days 30 to 70 were a roller coaster ride from hell for myself and most of March....you can see that shit in April right now....Just buckle up and ride it out...you'll have really good days (where you'll think your cured) and absolute shitty days (where you'll feel like your back at the first week)....Ride It Out....stay active...increase your posting and general room activity....talk about it with your quit brother....then before you know it - you'll be sticking your head out the other side and life will all of a sudden be soo much better....

Your on the right track brother....just hang on and take it one day at a time....
Thanks Beast....I will heed your words of caution on the next 40 days. It hasn't been easy this far and I know you quit every day, so I'm trying not to look too far ahead. It is good to have someone who has been there tell you what to expect and not to get complacent in my quit. I thank you brother...
Tbow what beast said is absolutely true you may have a great week then turn around have 2 bad weeks just gotta see how bad you want this! Always keep those brothers numbers handy! On day 85 after 38 years of dip and got fake shit in now. But whatever it takes to live! Damn proud to be quit with you today my friend!
Thanks PAB...I'll tell you what, all of the support from guys like you, Beast, Rader, on top of my June bros is absolutely the most important tool in anyone's quit. I look forward to the challenge of kicking the nic to the curb and into the gutter where it belongs EDD. THANKS TO ALL OF THE SUPPORTERS WHO HAVE HAD JUNE'S BACK AND CONTINUE TO GIVE THEIR SUPPORT!! I am proud to quit with you today KTC brothers.
Day 29 of quit. The fog is gone, cravings not quite as bad, but also know the nic bitch is always around the corner lurking. After 4 weeks of quit I also know that from now until 50 years from now you have to approach the quit ODAAT EDD. Reach out and get involved with your group, support the new guys in their tough first couple of weeks as well as the older guys going thru a bad minute, hour, day, week. I'm proud to be quit and have the opportunity to live a full life to see my kids grow old, not widow my wife, and be there a long time for my entire family. KTC gives you the tools you need to succeed in your quit, from the vets busting your balls to the forum posts and chat. Use them all and you will succeed!!
We do this Edd! ODAAT! And we help each other along the way! Damn proud to be quit with you today!
