You are NOT weak.

Your body is not weak. It is just a machine and some of us hooked the pleasure receptor wires to the wrong thing...like nicotine. Your machine is now wired so that it tells you what you want.

You are STRONG. You can wait it out while the wires reconnect the right way and you no longer give in. You have made the decision. God can't help us and neither can Santa Claus. It is us, you and me and all these other guys that DECIDE not to drive to 7/11 for another can.

Now just be STRONG, and stand by the decision you made. I'm right there with you.

I am amazed that I just keep looking at this site and it helps.

hey guys.....just got home from work....it has been 24 hours since i last chewed.................................holy shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a long day............are they all like this......hell........i never thought 24 hours could last so long.......i have eaten a whole dang bag of sunflower seeds....1 bag beef jerkey...............and 5 liters of water..........................all on my first day!!!!!!!..................longest day of my life
I so know what you mean. The kids went off to school and I had some errands to run then it was "lunch date" with my wife. We have a place here in SLC called Brewvies, they serve burgers and beer and the like while you see a movie. Little early for beer so I had a big ol burger, and ate a mound of fries that would choke a donkey. I'm a little fella too, 5'10" 155. So we get home and an hour later I am eating ice cream which I never eat, and shoveling chocolate Nutella in with a box of the kids Nilla wafers. A couple blow pops and chewing the hell out of a pack of Tea Tree oil soaked toothpicks from Whole Foods.

Who knew this chew habit kept all this gluttony at bay...LOL.

Here is a little bit about time distortion. Like Parputt said, time distortion is at its worst at the beginning. It will get better.

The days will speed up man, I promise. Everyday will be a little smoother and faster. Keep the Quit strong my December brother.

Hang in there man. The first 3-4 days are hell, but it will get better. Don't worry about how much you are eating. A little weight is a lot easier to get rid of than a big ass tumor in you jaw!
