Just want to give a heads up that I have not visited here for quite awhile. I am however still quit!!! I have my good and bad days but hanging in there. Am staying in contact with a guy I met here.


Just got back from a ear nose throat specialist. Went in for something else but also had them check my mouth and throat. She could see where I kept my chew in my mouth for all those years as the texture of my mouth there is alittle different, she said in time it will get close to normal, but good news no signs of cancer!


For those who live in the area of Hershey, PA wanted to give you some information. On April 15 (Monday) from 4pm to 7pm Hershey medical center will be conducting FREE oral,head, and Neck cancer screening!

For peace of mind it is worth the trip! Even worth taking a day off work if needed. For a appointment for this free screening call 1-800-243-1455.

Still going. Does everyone else have times of the day that are your hardest? For me my hardest times are after lunch and dinner as well as close before I go to bed. But like said, still doing it. Hooch is used at those times. Guess those three cravings a day are good for someone who used to have nasty crap in my mouth almost all the time with the exception of when I ate and slept.

I was just thinking about this yesterday. I am sure we all have those times of day and triggers when the crave is worst. Learning those times and the right techniques, deep breathing, distractions, etc is important. Yo are doing great, keep it up. For me it was driving, after meals, and after morning coffee. I still have the craves but they get fewer and easier every day.
