I am stuck on step one. What is my quit page and what does it look like?
ok listen to this step by step.....your quit page is september 2014. That is your group because you will be making the HOF (100 days quit) during that month.
-click on the highest page number
-most recent post is on the bottom of the thread
-go to the most recent ROLL CALL (people posting numbers)
-click quote
-highlight entire area
-right click, cut entire area
-paste in upper box
-put your name at the bottom of the members section (not support)
-click reply

mix in a clue dude....get out of the fog and get it together......

There's no such thing as the perfect quit. All you need to do is put the can down and come in here and post your day 1. You are Jeff in Raleigh. I am Joe in Raleigh. I'm 37 days into it and tried the plan thing after dipping for 25 years. Stocked up on patches and nic gum and spent 2 weeks prior to my quit trying the find the best method of patches/gum until finally on a Monday morning put the can down/patches off and made it through day 1. Were the first few days sucky? Hell yeah but I'm typing these words to you as a free man. I don't miss anything about dipping and love paying at the pump without having to go inside. I'm stronger, have more confidence in myself and love the road I'm on now.

I think the fear of going from full nic to no nic has you scared else you wouldn't be going down the wean path. Point is you can do it if you choose to. Having first hand experience of the sucky first days will lift your chances of long term quit success. You need to read this when you log on next time and flush the stuff, post a day 1. Even though you think you know what this site is about, you have no idea the level of support you will get.

Flush and post. Stop opening the patch boxes and return them like I did.
After my experience on here yesterday I decided it's time. I flushed all the open cans I had down the toilet and gave away every thing not opened.

So here I am. I would normally be trying to chug the last bit of hot coffee so I could load up my lip.

Day 1
Bravo Jeff. Now go to the quit group section and post roll with sept 2014. Also read the welcome center.

Get your name on roll ASAP.

Welcome to quit.
welcome jeff.....no need to gather up any tools. You have entered the Home Depot online website dedicated to quit. No "weaning" off anything. Get rid of it all and lets do this. Click on my name and check the links under my "interests". That will explain the why and how involved n posting roll. PM me whenever you need to. Get in the chat room when your feeling like shit. Read all the intros, Kern story, and all the info to solidify your quit. I'll be checking on you dude. You can do this.

Jeff, the guy above me disagree about the color of the letter M, but he is an inspiration to me, and a bad ass quitter. I sent you my digits to call tonight, and haven't got a ring or a text. You wanna go the good cop route, and talk things over, or deal with the real deal no bullshit quitters? I am a real deal bullshit quitter, but still have the marshmellow fluff of a pre Hall of Fame brother. You got an hour and a half before my middle aged ass doesn't give a shit.

Jeffin,

Find a intro called "Lenten Quitter", it still should be on the first page. That is my intro. I came on here with a nicotine patch, and was "dog piled". I said fuck these guys, removed my name from roll, and like an ass chose to poison my body with a piece of plastic for 30 more days until I took it off. What did I lose? 30 days of not being poisoned, and the trust of some bad ass quitters in here.

I have now been nicotine free for 67 days. Believe what you read in here, the freedom for nicotine is incredible. I used Lent as a crutch to quit, why use Father's Day? Do it today, and on Sunday you'll have the biggest smile on your face. I sent you my number if you want to chat tonight, trust in the KTC method and you'll never regret it.

Dog piled? How about dog shit? There you go again, "I guess I signed up too early". See you made another post without saying your quit, there's more credibility right down the shitter. Do us a favor, get the fuck out of here. We don't coddle to anyone. Come see us when you quit.

In all seriousness... no rancor intended... What are you waiting for? Why are you waiting?
Well, it’s one louder, isn’t it? It’s not ten.
