Okay. 212 pounds. Ouch. When I quit, I was 208. Its not all the Quit. Very stressful job, tons of travel. Eating like shit. Drinking too much. All the usual excuses. I outlined a plan in the beginning of my quit, but am modifying slightly.

1. Workouts on the Road: Slightly modified Body for Life during travel. Weights - each body part gets once a week. 20 minute HIIT.
2. Workouts at Home: Just hired a trainer at Lifetime Fitness for 3 months. 60 minute workouts. They choose the workouts. Will train 3 days a week with these guys.
3. Eating: Nothing crazy. Will bump up protein slightly. 2000 to 2300 calories a day. Considering tracking via weight watchers, but thats kind of a pain in the ass.
4. Supplements: Also nothing crazy. Starting with multivitamin, joint complex, EFAs, lean body protein shakes (but only 1 to 2 a day)
5. Water: A gallon a day

Goal is 195 or less in 12 weeks. 185 or less in 24 weeks.

Anyone game to keep each other accountable?
Hey check out loseit.com. You enter your meals and workouts. It then gives you grafts and charts of you work.

That has made losing weight a game. I went from 185 to 212 when I quit. I am 190 today. The weight is coming off now!
I am eating like a horse and don't know why.....Might have to wait till this shit settles out before I join you!!
This is awesome!! I've picked up about 5lbs in 25 days.. no biggie.. I can drop fast! I always go to the gym.. Way to develop a plan of action and stick to it! That's what it takes to accomplish most anything! Congrats!!! I thought about hiring a PT at my gym.. accountability as we all know is good  she is hot as fuck! "I need a spot"!

Second day of personal training and I must tell you.....shit i have put on some pounds. Simple movements were tough.

So - the trainer asks why I have put on so much weight. I give the answers......stress, promotion, travel.....etc...etc.....

Rewind.....just so everyone knows......In my quit, I have not told anyone except my family.....so there I am on the treadmill, with a late 20 year old something who is RIPPED and just got out of the army and training me due to the FAT I have put on..........

so I finish with my usual excuses.......and then.................and it felt so natural.......i felt it coming........been wanting to tell someone other than my family at home and my family at KTC...........

"I quit dipping Copenhagen 93 days ago"

man

FUCK

what a weight off the chest

SO this guy - who is fantastic and been hammering me in my first 2 ever personal training sessions.....goes

"fuck.....that is amazing....I have been dipping for 10 years since the Army..........I want to quit......how did you do it????"

yes........it felt good for a moment to be 20 pounds over weight in my mid 40's.....looking at this late 20 year old something while I dragging my ass on the treadmill.........

out of breath.....I go.......write this down......."killthecan.org"

one other question.....anyone else find it depressing that after 2 years a quit group gets reduced to 4 or 6 guys?
Nope. Not depressing at all. You figure out who is with you and who ain't.
Agreed. I know we quit one day at a time here, but I promise I will be posting on day 1000 and will enjoy every brother that is with me

A few questions......who started this site? Who runs this site? Where is it hosted? Who pays for it? KTC is a blessing.......for sure

We should print every page of rage, love, regret, hope that this site has and publish a book.....

The Title would be either "Quit Like Fuck" or "Fuck the Bitch"

or we could go with

"How to stop being addicted to Nicotine"

or better yet

"Quitting Nicotine for Dummies"

that would fund this site times 10

but - am serious on the questions above - anyone know?

You might also research green juicing to both detox and improve your immune system. Also helps with the Big Quit.

Great sounding program though. Keep it up.
