I am JT Lewis, I quit yesterday night at around 830 after talking to a few guys on the live chat. (You guys know who you are). I was told right away to just take a leap into being quit, and I did. I don't have a special story, or anything glorious. But I'm here because I'm ready to stay quit. Today is the first actual day of being quit, and the fog of war is here. "I will be quit for today. Because tomorrow is just a dream." I will say the same tomorrow, and take it one step at a time. Thank you all for the support, and I will need you guys constantly. Thanks for reading :)
Nice. One of my favorite things about quitting nicotine today. I will be a Man of my word and stay quit with you. I like that I no longer lie about chew. I no longer swallow in conversations because I didn't expect to be talking to someone. I no longer look at someone elses empty water bottle and take it for a spitoon. I no longer fear or stress being exposed. Never worry about my wife or kids finding my hiding places for tin. I like that I don't bow down and worship nicotine.

With all that, I love being a man of my word. It is more rewarding and builds more self confidence. You may crave and want a dip. Just remember if you stay quit today, tomorrow you wont regret saying no today.

Seriously don't be deceived, freedom and victory over this vice kicks the shit out of any buzz or false pleasure you get from the nic bitch.

Its going to be difficult at times but fight and you will never regret being a quitter!
I love this! Thank you guys! Sorry it took so long to come back to my intro. Haha I'm doing well, and in an hour I'll be starting day 3! Props to ginet for getting me her, and everyone who is rooting for me. It helps me out when I'm having a bad day. I look through posts, and also see the quit group page for inspiration. You guys a my lifeline! QlfEDD!!!

-------^ This is my anthem every damn day. All these things are the reasons that "just one" isn't worth it and I won't do it. I promised my quit bros and everybody on this site that I wouldn't. Not going back on that to play Russian roulette with a can of poison.

Today I choose to quit because today is the only day I have control over today. Tomorrow is a new day and when tomorrow is today, I'll control it too, but not until then. I will win this fight with today...
