Made it through the first weekend. That was my worry, more idle time on Sat and Sun, and hanging out with the fellas, all those places where it is habitual to dip.
Thinking about dipping less and less each day.. Instead of every 2 minutes like the first few days (well day one and two was pretty much CONSTANT), I go large parts of an hour without those thoughts.Â
Keeping busy really helped.. Doing something keeps the mind off of the lip.
day 5 now.
Haven't, didn't can't won't cave.
thanks Brothers..
Beware, "idle time" is the lair of the nic bitch. Stay busy and active. Now that you're quit, you have the freedom to enjoy so many healthy activities. Go to the gym and pump some iron, go for a run, do chores, change the oil in your truck, wash the dog, mow the lawn, etc. These are all things that probably "required a dip" in your past. Now you can enjoy them without worrying about poisoning yourself with the toxic weed known as dip. Get out there, get busy, and enjoy the hell out of life!

Your're so right.. Everything USED to require a dip, to do, or at least as a reward after.. Had myself trained like a god dammed seal at Sea World.
A long drive required a dip.
Doing some paperwork needed a chew.
Workin on the truck or wife's car was a constant dip.
Could not eat without a follow up dip.
I even recall out hiking, reaching the top of a long uphill, hell time for a chew..
We'll I don't need any more so called rewards for completing tasks as I have quit.
