Early morning you rise, reach for that can you know all so well. You pack it and tap it, running your nail in to break the seal; your nostrils fill with that aroma some of you have know longer then others. Poking your fingers into that can until you get that perfect pinch, pulling your lip down to place that dip in your favorite spot.

But I have quit, and this for me is a fading memory. I am 34 I have chewed hard for 20 years.

Early morning I rise from my sleep, wrap my arms around my loving girlfriend, and place my lips on hers.

I once believed that putting something in my lip first thing in the morning was the most important thing of the day. But in turn in filling my lip, I was missing out on my most important thing of the day!

Everyone Quit Hard, And then Quit Harder.

Welcome Clay! I was a three finger dipper, shocker two just weren't enough. When you get to be my age, you'll let the ol lady sleep, take a nice crap, grab a coffee and put your promise down on roll call with your hof group early every morning. That's how we quit and that's the most important thing. Aggrandizing the rituals of our addiction will ruin your quit before it even has a chance to grab hold. Check out the welcome center up top there for some more info. You can do this but you're going to have to make it your first priority for the foreseeable future. I mean, what good are lips if your jaw is gone?
What my brother says ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ He's a quitter.
You bet 30! You bet.

Change you to i, because i no longer put the filthy, disgusting, stinky poison in my fingers. I wake up early, post roll and live out the day without loving something that was only taking from me. Screw the poison. This to is how you will look at the poison in time.

Start reading everything you can on this site. Learn your enemy, it knows you! Glad to be quit with you.
I used to want a full horseshoe to second I woke up... What person in their right mind would want to start the day with a filthy mouthful of poison? No one would except slave addicts. Kiss your GF and be glad for your freedom; then post roll and QLF all day.
Welcome 2finger, great choice to be quit! Fair warning, your quit will remain difficult and tenuous if you continue to believe that carcinogenic wad of chemicals infused in a weed provided you with anything useful or enjoyable. Any "enjoyment" simply came from supressing the withdrawal symptoms every time you packed in another fatty. Read everything you can on this site, it is full of useful info to help you learn about your addiction and help you stop romanticizing it. Glad you are here, definitely quit hard every day!
Fish, eat, sleep. Repeat.

When your my age you'll be glad you woke up and watch her for signs of life. As far as that morning pinch, I always had to remove what was left of that last dip of the day that I put in before falling asleep. I still wake with dreadful morning breath but at least I don't have crusted dip on the side of my face and pillow.
You need anything Clay I'm a pm away.

The poison sucks. I hate it. I hated it this morning, I hated it at noon, I hated it at supper and I hate it tonight. I enjoy hating it so much I'm going to wake up tomorrow and start over hating it. I quit with anyone that wants to hate it with me.
