I wish I would have quit when I was 20. That would be 10 less years packing my lip with shit. This is quit attemt unknown. This is the first time I have made it this far.
Keep on going brother, the reward just keeps getting better!

Thanks for the support. It was hard today driving home in the snow not to stop andgrap a can. I have been into the beef jerky alot to give my lip the full feeling. It would be nice if my head would quit feeling like the world looked in the snow on my way home tonight.

Congrats on an awesome decision man. It takes a set of 'nads for an addict to realize he's tired of putting turds in his face. Bear in mind that your son can be a motivation, but he cannot be the reason you quit. It has to be your quit for you first. I think your heart is in the right place though.

Pay a visit to the salmon colored welcome center link in the upper left. There you can read about what roll posting means and how to do it. PM me if I can do anything to help.

Today is day 2. My head hurts I feel like shit. But I am happy that I finaly have made the decision to quit. I have dipped a can of wintergreen kodiak every day for the last 12 years. Monday my six year old son asked me if he could put poop in his mouth like daddy. It was not good but the moment that made me relize now is the time. Thanks.
Welcome aboard and hang on!! Look around you are in the company of a bunch of crazy addicts that put that poop in their mouths for years. Read all you can to help prepare for what you may experience. Especially in the first few weeks the pain of withdrawal are very similar. Pm me if you need anything.
