  • Interests: I'm married to a beautiful lady. I like to lift weights and run. I play poker and win. I spend as much time riding as I can! I go to work every day and work too many hrs. I'm aggressive! And all of this makes me happy. I'm here to quit the one thing I hate about myself, my addiction to chew. It has ruled me and I wont be controlled anymore!

  • Interests: Lately I don't seem to have time for anything but work. I enjoy golfing and reading. I like being outdoors, preferably on a lake with an adult beverage and my beautiful wife. I love going out on the town, trying new restaurants and meeting up with friends.

Thanks I appreciate the welcome..... Ive been watching the post since my day 2 Unfortunately I was a complete lunatic from day 2 to 6. Im surprised I wasn't committed to some kind of mental facility. I finding now that im just in an intense fog  but staying strong and pushing thru.....
We've all been there bro. Be sure to drink a ton of water, post roll and bring all your angry shit here to your wall and not to friends and family. It's good to be quit with you today!
Welcome and congrats. You're already through the worst if it. Stay focused and stay quit. PM me if you need a number.
Cranberry juice really helped me cut through the fog days I didn't drink any in the beginning I was really fogged in. Yes always bring your rage here I was a complete asshole when I first got here(some would say that was is not appropriate). I hated everyone and everything just for breathing in the same area as me. I came here n the vets worked with me. This is a great community never forget if you have any left in the tank to pay it forward and back. In the beginning there is whole lot of taking going on but that's just the way its got to be. When you get stronger help out another quitter there will always be someone behind you to help. There are vets out to be thankful for too listen and learn from them.
You are doing it, great job. I quit with you today.

Just keep drooling on yourself and smashing your head into nearby walls. You should be able to get a good deal on a straight jacket on ebay. Your wife can fasten the buckles and such. It'll get better soon, I promise.
I would loan you my straight jacket but it probably would be to loose for you :P
Keep going. The tunnel is dark and smelly at first but there is light and freedom when you come out the other side.

I'm in the same boat as you, with the timing and all. Every day there's a new "why the duck is that" feeling. I'm trying to stay connected and keep my mind off the dip. I'll quit with you today bro.

So just a quick little bit about me ive been dipping for 20 plus years about a tin a day give or take some. Well it finally dawned on me that I need to quit... Well at day 9 alls I can say is fuk me what a battle that little nicotine devil sure does know how to play games... That being said my desire not to be a slave to a chemical is winning out .  Looking forward to chatting with you fellow x dippers.
Welcome DC! Day 9 is the nuts! Further then I ever got on my own. The tough part is done and now there's no looking back. Check out the Welcome center tab below the header up there. I see you already posted your promise in June so all that's left to do is honor that promise then do it again tomorrow and each day thereafter, no matter what.
Welcome, DC! You're gonna find all the support you need here. I joined here 615 days ago and never looked back. Sometimes it'll be tough, but continue to post your promise, lean on your brothers and sisters and you'll do just fine. Feel free to post with us in Oct 2012 was well. Good quitters there.
