Have I mentioned that I am glad you are back? If not it's good to see you roaming the halls again.

Alright...so the Admins have restored upon me the ability to maintain private communications with the rest of the KTC world. For that I am grateful. Anyone wishing to pm me needing help or wanting to swap digits, fire away.

WAIT!!!!

I gotta affirmation for ya.

I've been doing a lot of thinking about my life.  The quit is a daily struggle, but something that I have come to own and resolve myself to never let off of.

Why have I not been doing that in other areas of my life?

I have health issues (overweight, blood pressure).  Why can I not make life changes and stick to those like I have the quit?  E.G.  cola, junk food, fast food, late night eating, exercise.

I want all my brethren and sisteren to join me in owning your life and taking it back.  Whatever it is, not just nic, that you need to 'quit', let's do this together.

Gator.
since you dont have pm read my day 75 post...we are off to sign up at a gym to nite. I have come to the realization that I can apply all the teachings from KTC to other aspects of my life. I also wanna trim down, whats the point quit nicotine and blimp up. Both can kill you, thats really what we do here is save lives. Works in other areas too like relationships I have learned and leaned from/on people here. I have tried taking what I have learned and applied it.
I'm starting my diet and workouts...Monday.
oh no Diesel we dont start Monday we start today.
Excellent work...and I am with you. Diesel...there is no Monday. Just today. We say quit for today only. Deal with tomorrow when it comes. Today is the day. Take back our lives in all aspects.
Life is filled with too many Mondays. But you know that already. I am proud to say that I have lost 60 lbs since January, because I just decided one day to buy a gym membership and take my life back! Im 31 years old and at 290 lbs I was headed to bad health even if I didn't quit chewing. Now I weigh 230 and am gunning for 200. Working out has been the best thing to get me through some bad days of this quit! I highly recommend it! My goal is to hit my HOF weighing somewhere between 200 and 210!
Sarcasm

I been doing some...

I'm working on the beer part myself. After 12 hours at a dealership it seems to be the easiest way to unwind. Kinda sad huh? Sounds vaguely similar to chew... Maybe I need to think about that more.... See this thread is making me think. Thank you Instigator!
was gonna say seems like my beer consumption has gone up since dip dropped off. I should look at that too. Dont wanna have to post roll here and at some kill the beer can site too. Also was gonna say see our teachings at KTC are being applied. I
Trauma, I've actually thought about that over the last 2 months. I do drink more. I don't think I drink a lot... But it takes away some of the tension, so I find I may have a couple extra after work. Probably not cool! I would feel like the biggest asshole alive if I quit chew and had to then face an alcohol addiction. Instigator.... I think you have made me think hard enough to want to take a break from beer. I'd probably lose weight even faster.... That way I don't total Traumas truck when he runs me over later!!!!
OK y'all I did it went to the gym got a membership so I can pull the hills w Jakes big ol ass in my rig. I did elliptical n lifted
Nice. Going down to jog on treadmill now. Let's use this thread to report on daily progress. Accountability.
