I just stepped on her dick!!! IÂ’ve never felt like this going into this. IÂ’m so mad at dip, and disappointed in the time, money and energy I put into dip. And then it hit me, IÂ’ve never seen an old dude out there dipping, you know why? Because there arenÂ’t old men out there dipping! TheyÂ’re all dead! ItÂ’s a dumb pathway, and going into it the same way as I have always done or a lot of people for that matter, thatÂ’s why I wanted to change my attitude for it. Blessed that I had a moment of clarity.

I like the craving coming and knowing that my mouth is now healthier because I didnÂ’t take that dip right after lunch like I always did. You fuckers know what IÂ’m talking about, and thatÂ’s a delicious dip right after lunch. Nope, not this time, FUCK DIP!!!

I feel great, IÂ’m getting the Fog and the cravings, but I feel fantastic. This is just what I needed here to let this out.
Embrace it. This is going to be the last day 1. Right now it doesnÂ’t suck... but how many times have you gone 24, 48, 72 hours only to be right back where you were? She knows... she is waiting outside for you doing push-ups in the parking lot. Question is are you working out just as hard to be ready?
There are no circumstances in which using nicotine will improve the outcome.

My journey. The best part it is not over yet.

I donÂ’t even want to dip anymore. IÂ’m 38, been dipping since I was 12 (Boy Scout Camp), probably a few cans a week. College and then the Marines, turned on the dip machine Bigly for me, was doing up to 2 cans a day. Moved to Las Vegas after USMC and working in the casino biz, I was doing a can a day just on my graveyard shift! I was a steady 1 can a day of Copenhagen snuff.

The other night I forced a dip onto myself when I really didn’t need or want one and had a moment of clarity “what the fuck are you doing man? This is disgusting.” So, that was it, I’ve cut down to one dip a day in the morning to help with my “morning glory” and have picked June 1 as the first day in my new life of being DIP FREE.

Honestly, at this point I hate it, I hate the habit, itÂ’s disgusting, itÂ’s gross, itÂ’s just flat out nasty. I hate it, and IÂ’m glad to be here.

Thanks!
Great idea to bump up that quit date! You are right it is disgusting and nasty and on top of that it controls you. It is not a habit, it is an addiction and we are all addicts. Quit here one day at a time and take your freedom back. You will never regret quitting.

Welcome.

I challenge you to switch that quit date to today. You see, the problem with a planned date is that the first of June too easily changes to the second of June, then the first of July, then the first of August... I can't tell you how many times I planned to quit. Only to come up with some excuse as to why to put it off a while longer.

Seriously - dump your can into the toilet, flush the toilet, rinse your can, and throw it away. Now.

Here is a link to your September Quit Group. Go there now and post your promise to not use nicotine in any form for the rest of the day. Then go back there tomorrow, and every tomorrow after, and do the same thing. We make our promise as soon as we get out of bed, before we leave the house for the day.

Get to know the guys in your group, and exchange digits with a few of them. Offer your support when they need it, and lean on them when you need it. Everyone in your Quit Group will have quit at around the same time you have, and will be going through the same things as you are. My digits are just a PM away.
