Nice of you to enlighten us with your quit protocol Exkodiaker.  All you have done is trade one nicotine deliverly system for another.  That aint how things work around here.  When you sack up and decide to quit, we will be right here...all 17,000 of us.  We will help you get going and provide you the tools to help you in your quit, but you will do the hard work.  Until you decide to make that committment, please stay off our site and do not waste our time with your nicotine influenced rhetoric...we have heard it all before.  Adios Pussy.
Exkodiaker, introducing gum nicotine on this site is bringing the enemy into our backyard. Until you realize how serious this addiction is, you will not understand why we don't tolerate nicotine in dip or dressed up in gum. I hope you drop all forms of nicotine and instead find strength amongst us on this site.
The gum does not work anyway. Been there..done it. No matter what mg you take in compared to the dip in the can, you still know the nicotine is coming in. There's no other way but nothing at all. Hope you figure it out soon. This is a great place to quit and these guys know what they're talking about. It's not easy, but so worth it!

So... It's "reasonable" to stroke you for still being an addict? You get a pat on he head for "trying"? You wanna be a slave? You and all your ilk make me sad. You. Are. Owned.
Well, it’s one louder, isn’t it? It’s not ten.

It's not a method. It's continued addiction.

KTC is about quitting. You're not. But... You can be. Be a real man and quit sucking on the teat of your nicotine addiction. We'll show you what REAL freedom is... Not the delusion you've got goin on. Throw away all your crap and taste what we're all about. Until then... This is not the place for you.

Well I quit dipping Kodiak on Jan 1st and have been chewing Habitrol nicotine gum 2mg when I crave. From what I read, a 1/10 can dip is about 15mg nicotine. I'm doing good on just 10 pieces of gum/day. That's 20mg nicotine in gum consumption/day vs. my dip habit of 150mg/day or 1 can/day. So right off the bat I'm at 13% of my original intake of nicotine. I'm weaning of the gum slowly by chewing trident in between. Its working great and I recommend this quit style. Habitrol is sold at amazon.com, it breaks down to 50 cents per piece of gum. Flavors aren't bad, there's mint and fruit flavor. Good luck guys.
Sorry dude. You're in the wrong place. This is a zero nicotine site. If you want to join, then you need to dump all forms of nicotine delivery RIGHT NOW. Your quit would start today, not on Jan 1st. Go to the pinkish tab above Welcome Center and read up on what you need to do. This ain't easy, but you will get support and tough love here if you decide to truly rid yourself of nicotine. Weaning with nic gum is bullshit. Get the picture?
