Day 2 of my quit.
The good:
I stayed quit today
I ordered a sample pack of SM
I utilized the chat and this site to help me during the tough stuff
The bad:
The cravings!!!
The shakes
The increased anxiety, I suffer from that to begin with.
Did I mention the cravings?

Overall I succeeded today and look forward to roll tomorrow.
Sounds like a win, I would buy seeds, gum, jolly ranchers anything to keep your cravings down to a minimum. Wish i would of made it into chat today but this hurricane crap had me doing other things today.

Stay quit today and tomorrow is another great day to be quit

So its been about 20 hours and I'm doing ok with the oral fixation part of things with the help of grinds. The worse part is the crave. I feel a physical need for a big giant dip. I'm not going to but the crave is real
Adam this is a very powerful addiction. Stuff your fat lip with fake. My advice to help with craves is, go to the bedroom, walk up to the Chester drawers, open one of your drawers( I'll explain why yours in a second) put your nuts in them and slam it! Definitely helps with the cravings for hours and sometimes depending on how hard you slam it day's! Use your drawer because your ole lady chew your ass out for puking in hers! Quit on!
Damn that's an image and it made me grab my sack just by reading it!
It works though. I used to have balls, now I have squares. Read as much as you can on this site. Get ready for some wicked sleep pattern changes. For me, those were the toughest. Get through it because in this case, the light at the other end is actually freedom.
Just one is right back to where you were and where you were was desperately wishing you were where you are now.- Via Flip

Welcome Adam,

Great job getting on roll now keep your promise not to use nicotine. repeat first thing tomorrow morning. It will suck until it doesn't. Drink gallons of water and exercise as much as you can. Use fake seeds gum etc for the oral fixation. There is a lot of help here when you need it just ask. Check the upper right box I sent you my number use it when you need to

My name is Adam and I am an addict. Not to alcohol or drugs but to nicotine. I have been a user of some kind, mostly chew, since I was 15, I am 38 now. At my worst I was up to a can and a half a day. I am down to a can a week but I finally quitting for good.
I am an Army veteran, father of three sons, 18, 15, and 12. Been married 19 years. Deal with depression and anxiety from my service connected issues.
I am involved in various Veterans groups and enjoy woodworking, riding my moto guzzi California 1100 and bowling. All I can think of now. Any questions please feel free to ask.
Go to the december quit group post roll promising you won't use nicotine and prepare for the withdraw. Hydrate buy fake or seeds spend time on here reading and ask for digits to help hold yourself accountable. Remember the only way to fail this is to not use the system that is in place because it damn well works
I just posted in the. December quit group! I look forward to being nicotine free.
