If you haven't yet, go to a dentist and have them give you a once over. It'll do a world of good for your peace of mind.

Agreed.  I was so worried about going to the dentist after I quit I was shaking in the waiting room.  Got the clean bill of health and go every six months now like clockwork.  Go, you will be glad you did.

Anyone have issues with small white patch on gums, leukoplakia?? It appeared after I quit and has since started to go away! I’m 38 days quit!

I had small patches of leukoplakia after I quit. My dentist found them. I was in the same situation a lot of quitters seem to be in - I avoided the dentist when I was using, and got there as fast as I could after I quit.

The dentist found the leukoplakia, and told me it was probably no big deal, and we scheduled a follow-up. I don't remember if the follow-up was two weeks or a month later, but either way, the leukoplakia had disappeared, and has never shown up again. I go to the dentist every six months now.

I had mega heartburn.  Was buying tums in bulk and leaving some in the house, in the truck, at work....but that all left me after a while.  It's normal, and it's worth it to push through!

Pepcid Complete works waaaaayyy better.

I gave out my number to somebody and regretted it, so this is more safe.

It's all good, nobody has to join.

I've given out my number 100's of times, and have never had an issue... And I know many more have done more.

I get that you may be a little uncomfortable sharing information with an internet "stranger" - But over the last 835 days, many of these people have become my friends. We get together for beer. We have spent time with each others families. I hope in time, you will see the benefit of this. but in the mean time, jump on the forums. Read, get involved. I assure you, you wont regret it!

I can appreciate not wanting to give your number to 'strangers'. I was that way once too.

I'll simply offer a few counterpoints:

• Once you start interacting with people, they're no longer strangers
• Some of my best friends in the world are from these forums. These are relationships that have been forged through more than a decade of chats, discussions and brotherhood
• Some of these friends I've never met face to face. That doesn't make them any less of my friend.
• If you're worried about giving out your cell number, are you not worried about EVERYONE joining a private Discord server you posted in a public forum?

All of this doesn't really matter though.

Post roll. Stay quit. Repeat tomorrow.

Everything else is just noise.
