with my 10yr old son. Was nice not hiding that shit from him. No more guilt here from that habit. I just started to learn how to infuse
this son with his medicine so he can learn to self infuse. In other words I'm giving him an IV once a week. This started two weeks ago,
when I was doing the "stick" I noticed that my fingers were not all stained gross yellow / brown from chew. Can't even imagine that embarrassment
if they were still stained. I can here my little guy now "Dad, why are your fingers yellow, did you wash them like the nurse said"
Just another win in the book of quit. Carry on.
Good for you JG, this is awesome to hear and glad you're reaping the benefits of freedom. As you're finding out, this is so worth the early struggle. Keep it up my man.
"Fuck nicotine dude. You don't need it. And you don't want it. It didn't do a thing for you and you know it." - worktowin
"today you dissided that shit wont control your life. and it wont. unless you let it." - drome
"Not thinking about nicotine is for people who've never used nicotine. We threw that option away with the first dip or drag on a cigarette. We are addicts, and cannot become un-addicted." - wildirish317
"You need to decide how much you really want to be quit." - pky1520
We are always at risk. And probably always will be. That is why I will never get "too quit" to post my +1. Every. Damn. Day. - geis2597

Great! Love those kinda stories! Made my quit stronger today! God bless you and yours and quit on my friend! Thanks for sharing. It's good to hear positive stories too!
Tobacco is so addictive it took me a year after a massive heart attack, in which doctor confirmed caused from dipping to finally put a lid on the bitch! ODAAT EDD

Quote from: JGlavBeen getting these evil fucking voices in my ear lately. " hey just have a dip, You got this shit under control.
Just one lipper. Think of the nize original dip buzz you'll get, then you can go right back to quitting. They'll never know
what the fuck is one dip going to mean to anyone" Ughhhhh. This is some evil shit boys and girls. The whispers at Day
62 are tough. Actually, I think I'll put this over in December '15. Maybe I'm not the only one.

My promise in the morning is worth more than that fucking whisper from the Nic Bitch.
Good call talking about this here, and even better call sharing it with the Disciples. If you're experiencing this, you can bet the bottom dollar others are as well. I know I did when I was in that period of time.

Of all the words nicotine should be called, "evil" really is the most appropriate. All I can tell you is the whispering gets less frequent and less intense with time, but even still, you will get the occasional vivid crave, even after hundreds of days quit. Make sure you always remember why you quit to begin with, and that for people like us, just one will never be an option!

Quit with you,

Invader
She'll whisper and I'm not sure she'll ever stop, which makes sense. We're addicts and that will never change; because we're addicts and she'll always whisper. Now, with that said, she will whisper less and less over time to the point where it is just a nuisance, ...but whatever. My quit is so huge and runs so deep that her whispers are meaningless. The key is to keep it that way. Post roll, foster your web of accountability, and nurture that quit every single day.
the bitch will look for weakness, keep the quit fire burning bright. use ktc as a way to fuel the fires, read up on the words of wisdom, hof speeches, find a new quitter and pass on what you have learned. most of all never get complacent in a quit.
Good advice here. Thanks for the support. D2 you are every where on these boards man. I've been deep into some of the December years and there
you are brother. Quit on!!

I knew in my head I shouldn't be dippin' and I did it anyway like it was out of spite. That nicotene
is a scary bitch. Woke up all fucking angry. Crazy man
I am noticing the dip dreams happening more often and are more realistic.

I am glad you said you are waking up angry as well. I have had horrible rage after waking up.

We have this. We are quit strong.

I am proud to quit another day with you.
Yeah. Some screwed up shit. Enjoy the weekend you have off!! Quit with you today. See
you on roll tomorrow.
They are victories. You feel like dog crap when you wake up which is good for two reasons. 1) you're still quit even though you thought you weren't, and 2) you give a shit about your bros that you stand next to every damn day on here. VICTORY!
Really does all come down to a promise in the morning. Cravings, triggers etc are there still but i knw I promised every quitter in
December and on the support side that I would not ingest nicotene. It's really that simple.

Quote from: eyehatecopeI remember my trip to the dentist. Hadn't been in 12 years.

Told the lady I had quit. She was excited.

Then, I apologized to her LOL. She was like what????? I knew how bad the plaque/tarter had built up.

I bled like a stuck hog in that chair. I was proud I did though. It was worth suffering, knowing I was on the right path of the quit.

I got a good report that day, Dentist he said my front tooth was turning a different color which we would keep and eye on, during the 6 month checkup.

So proud to see you are staying quit strong JGlav!
Pretty pumped that I'm on the right path. Quitting with you everyday Eye
