Well we disciples head into the HOF month of December tomorrow. I had a great couple days with my brothers, sons, nephews and a couple
family friends at hunting camp after Thanksgiving. One of the family friends came up with two tins of skoal and asked if I wanted a dip. Told him I
quit at the beginning of September. Felt so damn good to tell him that. I don't know about you guys but I feel like I have more patience with my boys.
I always had it in my head that if I had a dip I'd be more patient, when I lost patience it was because I needed a dip. That damn nicotine made me think ass
backwards. I spent literally 8 hours opening day with my 10yr old boy learning him to hunt and never lost my patience once with him. It was such a beautiful
nic free opening day. Didn't get all mad because he wanted to come in because he was cold. Damn this quit shit is good. Here comes the polar express HOF train.
Quit today with my badass disciples and supporters. Carry on.

Awesome that this stuff is happening more and more with you JG. I've noticed more patience as well and so many more great things that come with taking our lives back. Damn proud of you for making it this far, and congrats to you and the Disciples as you move into December.

That is a fantastic story JGlav. Thanks for sharing it. I began to notice more and more times like that with family and friends when for the first time, i could actually be in the moment. It is a very different feeling to take joy in "now" without being distracted (or worse craving) what may be happening next. I'm sure others notice it in us as well. That is what nicotine takes from us! And it is one of the many reasons I despise it. Proud to be quit with you EDD. CJ
