Hi to all
I'm on day twelve and joined KTC on day 8. It's getting easier every day but the urge to dip is still there. I began dipping Skoal fine cut in college when I was 19. Now 56, dipped thru an entire career and beyond. That's 38 years. Doing Smoky Mountain but less of that every day. Mouth was sore but seems less so every day. Fog was horrendous initially but now I'm in and out of it during the day instead of all day long. Keeping to myself at home these days avoiding places that sell dip. Darn, truck needs gas. That'll be a hurdle stopping there. I can do it and so can you. I will not dip anymore!

Longbow doing great! You are close to my age so you know what posting your promise means. It means when that name has been placed on roll you want dip for that day because you gave your word and it means something to you. So, it's simple post your name early every damn day and you can't fell. Also don't avoid stores, face them head on and smile knowing your not putting that shit in your mouth anymore! I like you, dipped 38 years and now 1007 days later I'm here because of ktc mainly. Buy into the system it works. Quit on! ODAAT
Tobacco is so addictive it took me a year after a massive heart attack, in which doctor confirmed caused from dipping to finally put a lid on the bitch! ODAAT EDD

K-man - you can also use this intro to tell us more about yourself and your quit. We are REALLY interested in getting to know you...so, sounds like you are a family man....which is awesome. (If you want to know more about me, feel free to check out my intro). Anyway you are off to a great start, but make no mistake...KTC is a group of hard core quitters...they (we) take it very seriously....which is why we will both beat this f*cking addiction!

It took me a while to figure out how to properly do Roll call, IÂ’m hear and will continue to do roll everyday. Last night I committed myself to doing this and tossed the can, so today has been a little rough.

Where are you Kactiz? Quitting requires your active participation in this community. You need to post roll every morning. You need to keep quitting at the front of your mind. Here is your quit group. Here are instructions for posting roll, and reason we post roll.

Bottom line - we can only help you if you put forth the effort first, and putting forth effort means posting roll.

You are with the December group -- I am also in December so we can ride this race together. YOU need to post roll today -- make the promise and POST. MY name and promise are there -- Do this today -- then do it again tomorrow -- and repeat -- and repeat.

Important point -- this is NOT a habit -- this is an addiction. You need to recognize that as you will be in a fight today, tomorow and every day after.

Make your pledge today and join your December Brothers and Sisters on the Group Roll.

It is not too late to post roll in December 2017 tonight! Do this. Right now -make your promise. Come back tomorrow and make that promise again. You will not regret this first step.
Just one and you will be back to where you started, and where you started was desperately wishing you were where you are now.

LetÂ’s do this
« on: September 21, 2017, 11:29:00 PM »
Hello all,
I have been dipping since I was 16. Like many of you IÂ’m sure, I have attempted to quit many times before but it was never because I wanted to. Now my kids are all old enough to ask questions and tell me itÂ’s not healthy. I said I was going to quit when they were born and here IÂ’m years later and still dipping two cans a day. So IÂ’m ready to break this habit and IÂ’m tired of it controlling my life.

I really hope this site can help me, I know it will be hard but IÂ’m ready.
