Sounds like someone who got a little bit of hazing and ran crying home to mommy.
You may be cool, but you're a tool compared to these guys.

just dumped out my last tin, i know with support i can beat this!

hey guys sorry i didnt see this intro page. i posted a story in feb 2012 earlier today. i stand corrected (zam). i completely forgot i posted a day1 3 days ago. in no way am i trying to make an excuse or mislead you all cause i know what ive done, but i just got thru my hell week at school and am just now looking up and getting my shit (back) together. technically yes u guys are right, this is my day 3rd day 1. its different this time because some of the guys who know me (who probably think they dont anymore) saw that i can be engaged and dedicated. i had my moment of weakness and failed. just because I got 1 question wrong on the exam doesnt mean im gunna screw up the entire thing. my mindset is the long run and i fully ownup to failing and take responsibility for it but my hearts in the right place and im back up on the sattle. I wouldn comeback and take all the shit if i didnt think it was worth it

Save us all the time and effort and move along. What are you going to do the next time the dog eats your homework or Mary-Sue Rotten-Crotch runs off with Billy-Bob leaving you with your dick in your hand?

This isn't some sort of "If it feels good, do it" kinda place. There are people here willing to invest their time and effort in other people looking to quit for good. You don't strike me as someone who's taking this seriously
leahy i see what you are saying but you dont even know me. ive never talked with you before. you wouldnt know that i was in chat 3+ hrs a day thru my first 100 days. u wudnt know ive got plenty of numbers and people i can text everyday. i understand in your eyes im just another caver and your 'better than me' for being so self-controlled. mistakes happen thats life, all i know is im quit today and when tomorrow rolls around im gunna come back for more

Hey college kid, You can beat this addiction. It will not be easy, in fact it will really suck at times. I'm just finishing my 27th day of quit after over 38 yrs of addiction! You have got to really want to be quit!! You may stay quit for weeks, months or maybe even a year or two like me but unless you are committed to a life of quit, the evil bitch tabacco will rear her ugly head again and call you back to the clutches of her suductive filthy crotch. I like so many others here will tell you that they wish they had never started. And for sure we all wish we had quit sooner than we did. Daily roll and making that promise to yourself everyday to stay nicotine free is successful if you have integraty and keep your word. If you decide to quit and join the group it wont be long and you will experience what happens when someone fails to post roll and thinks they can go it on there own: they cave and some come crawling back posting a day 1 again. It sucks to watch it happen, especially since it is so simple to take the few minutes each morning to get online and post your day # and your committment for just that day. Give the bitch the old heave hoo! we are here to help each other.

Hold the train!!
pberg11 just noticed you joined in October had 566 posts WTF
Dipshit was this guy in your group or just before you??????????????????
I'm totally confussed at what is going on here!!

That's the attitude.

Now, I'll save you the first step and quote from the Welcome Center WHY we post Roll:

Quote
Roll call is the most important thing you will do here. That one simple act will be what makes this quit different than any other attempt. Roll call, quite simply, is a promise to your brothers that you will be Nicotine Free for that day.  We require a simple "one day at a time" philosophy. Make roll call, concentrate on today and today only. We'll work through the troubles of today with you. We'll worry about tomorrow when it gets here.  Roll call will build accountability with your brothers. You know that the man next to you in line is going through or has dealt with the exact same things you are. Lean on the knowledge of those who have walked that road. Develop relationships with them and especially the guys in your home group. These people will save your life if you let them.  If you follow this simple advice you'll be amazed. You have lied to, cheated on, and stole time from every single person you hold dear. You take roll call seriously, and you will find that total strangers will give your quit more accountability than any "real" person in your world.  If you want to quit, deep down, really want to quit... roll call is the cornerstone you will build your quit house on. Be loyal to yourself, your group, and ultimately to QSX as a whole and you shall have the freedom you desire. Guaranteed.

Now get into Feb. 12 group and POST ROLL.

Here's how:

Step 1 - Find the last Roll Call
Step 2 - Hit the "Quote" button in the upper right hand corner.
Step 3 - Click your mouse ANYWHERE in The bottom Box
Step 4 - Hit Ctrl and "A" at the Same time so it looks like THIS
Step 5 - Hit Ctrl and "X" at the same time so there is NOTHING in Either Box
Step 6 - Click your mouse in the TOP BOX
Step 7 - Hit Ctrl and "V" at the same time to Past the info into the top box AND ADD YOUR info to the bottom of the list
Step 8 - Hit ADD REPLY below the bottom box
Step 9 - Go back to the 1st unread post, pat yourself on the back, and have a beer cause you will not be dipping today.

I will quit with you if you're serious about quitting. I'm nearly on Day 10. This site works.

Simple plan here:

1. Wake Up
2. Post Role that you will be nic free for today
3. KEEP YOUR WORD
4. repeat tomorrow

Learn how to post role call by clicking on the pink WELCOME CENTER icon on the top left! You will be in the February quit group.

This plan has worked for me for 83 days!!!!! Glad to be quit with you!
