Welcome Shane. Congratulations on making it this far on your own, that's a monster accomplishment that I would never have been able to do. Keep popping anything that doesn't have nicotine in it.

The tired and lethargic feeling comes and goes from what I hear. I had a funk for the first week or so, but I seem to have gotten through that one. Nicotine serves to speed up your metabolism, so removing it from your system has left your body looking for that way to stay awake (probably why you're tired and lethargic). The healthiest way to do so is to drink a ton of water and get back to working out (plus this will boost your metabolism).

Furthermore, head over to the pre-HOF October 2015 group and post your promise there that you will not use nicotine. You will get a ton of support from all of us guys similarly situated. In fact, you have more quit days under your belt than most of us in there. Come over, share your story, and get involved. Doing so has increased my chances of success exponentially. I only quit for today though, so should you. Tomorrow we will deal with when it gets here.

Let's get to it Shane-o. I'll quit with you today.

I quit with you today!

Welcome new guy. I'm just 50 days in my quit but if you give this site a chance it will work. I shoved that shit in my lip for over 30 years. I will be 50 next month and let me tell you, right now I feel 10 years younger. The money I spent, the time a spent wondering when I will get my next fix. My life has been fucked up for over 30 years so if your fucking serious then post roll EDD and quit ODAAT and I will quit with you today.
Shane lets remember how much poison you have put in your body. Its gonna take awhile for yourbody to heal and awhile for your brain to rewire. Try to do everything you want to do , working out may feel weird first time or two but drink plenty of water and it should definitely help with the fog. No matter what suck you're going through its worth it! I quit with you today!
Tobacco is so addictive it took me a year after a massive heart attack, in which doctor confirmed caused from dipping to finally put a lid on the bitch! ODAAT EDD

New guy and the dreaded fog
« on: July 20, 2015, 06:21:00 PM »
So I quit on July 2. I feel tired and lethargic most of the time now. Is this part of the fog? I've been chewing orbit gun, a little smokey mt, and werthers to get by. This sucks. I thought I would get back into working out now that I quit but I just don't do it. I hope this is normal. Please help! Lol
