Thanks everyone for the great support! I am excited and happy to kill the habit. I am excited to learn more from everyone and hear what everyone has to say. If anyone needs a text my cell is XXX-XXX-XXXX. I am here to support anyone when they need it and vice versa.

Glad I found this place.

My background:

I am 27 and was a dipper for many years. I started just around my 19th birthday and quit last week.  I had a canker sore on the bottom of my gums from my retainer (or so I hope) and it scared the crap out of me.  I am glad I could find a place like this as I don't normally need a lot of support.

My problem is I do not miss the chewing tobacco, I miss the 8 years of my life that I wasted using tobacco. I look back and think how stupid I was to have ever used it.  Does anyone else feel the same way? I am glad I gave it up and will use you all for support. My quit date was 3/14/14.

I look forward to learning from everyone.
I sent you my number on a PM...use it if you need it. Water, water, water...trust me on this...do it! Exercise also helps burn some nervous energy...those two and this site helped me through the last week.

Proud to quit with you today and call you my June quitting brother. You got this!

I don't see this as a problem young bro... I see this as the beginning mindset you need to be free. Follow our program... it works. Stick around, be active, work your quit. You need a quitter in your corner to help you out?... message me. Rock on.

Hey gopher! Im glad your quitting! It is a tough process and the first few days after quitting are the worst. Im on day 5 now as well. I do agree with you about feeling youve wasted 8 years. I felt the same and i kick myself every day for starting the habit. The support groups here are great! I didnt think I would need much help but I did! Talking to people really helps a lot getting through the shitty stage! Dont forget to post roll! Im glad to be quit with you today!
Congrats on making a great decision! Quitting isn't easy but it is simple. Use KTC to keep yourself on the right path. Follow the program, thousands of successful quitters swear by it. I quit with you today.
Congrats Gopher on the best decision you've ever made!
Glad to have you here. Don't dwell on the past. We were all "dip" shits but we can't change that. What you control is the now. Not the past or the future. So don't let the nic bitch touch you in the now and the rest will work out.

Even though I've only been on KTC for a few days, I can say it's already helped me out a lot.

Quitting with you.

You are not alone in those feelings, my friend.

Go to the Welcome Center and read all that you can. You'll be in the June quit group. That's where I am. We post roll here Every Damn Day, making a commitment to ourselves and the other guys/gals on this forum that we will not use nicotine today. This is a promise that should be made every morning.

Get involved. This forum is only as helpful as you choose to make it. Reach out to people and exchange phone numbers. It's nice to have someone you can text who knows what you're going through when you're having a craving.

There are some unique individuals in here, but we're all here to help.

Quitting with you today.
