Well, 25 days and going strong. May be posting at odd times because I will be traveling this week. Travel does not usually interfere, but I'll also be driving through this storm from Chicago to Philly. Take care all, and Stay Quit.

Congrats on 25 days!!

Don't worry about what time your posting as long as you post every day. Yes it's nice to post first thing in the morning but sometimes that's not an option.

Drive safely through the storm and stay Quit!!

I was writing in here a lot more when the quit was harder. It's still hard, it's tough, and it's a bitch, but I am starting to realize that I really Don't need that in my life. Almost an entire day without "thinking about" it, and it felt great.

The part that sucked was realizing I was without it. But I've also gone 2 days (today is 3) without even using the fake stuff. Feeling great.

The bank came back with a counter offer about 20k over my offer. I split the difference and am waiting the call back.

-Had to edit. I realized it sounded like I had used. To be clear, I have NOT used in 18 days, and will continue with my quit.

Update****

I just got back from getting a loan and placing a bid on a house. Been living in an apartment forever, and though this is a big step, it's needed. 34 with Wife in Apt. Not for me. Wish me luck on the bid.

Oh, and Btw, Didn't even think about the nic bitch until I got home today about 4:00pm It was a really good day.
Awesome man, celebrate the good. And keep that path clear for those of us a couple steps behind you. 10 day gap between posts--hope that indicates success in managing your quit. And I hope that for you and me, again as someone a couple steps behind.

Best of luck with the housing purchase

Losing the partner won't effect my position. Just sucks to go through. My business will do just fine. Thanks for the support!

You're right. Nic never made anything better. Business divorces suck. But you know what sucks worse (I bet)? Sitting in the dentist chair when he says, "Uh, we've found something."

You can pick up the pieces and move on if your business splits. But you're dead if you can't kick the Nic Bitch out of your life.

Fighting with a soon to be ex business partner. I know nic doesn't make it better, but sure feels like it would. I will not cave, just needed to vent.

Kodiak didn't show up to the show! Yeah! That helps. Back in the fog again today, then I was told I was really hyper by others working in the booth. Hey, it keeps me busy 'Crazy'

Every time i think, gee this is getting easy, she tries to bite me again. Working at a trade show (hunting/fishing) and another guy in the booth is dipping. FFS give me a break. Seems so easy before the "triggers.".

Wow,what a night.  A six hour white knuckle drive at 30-40mph on the interstate.  Had to get to Detroit from Chi last night.  Sometimes I hate the arctic.

Teg, you drove within a mile of my house last night as you cruised past St. Joseph, MI. Glad you made it, glad you made it without caving - driving (particularly in stressful conditions) is one HELL of a trigger for me! Congrats dude!
Yeah, no doubt. That slow-moving snowy highway drive calls out for a dip. Glad you made it.
